“God, just shut up already,” she snapped.
“I beg your pardon?”
She turned from her spot at the helm, where she’d been white-knuckling the steering wheel, to find a freshly showered, damp-haired, and once again clothed Cooper. His shorts were also damp where he’d washed off the shortcake bits, but she didn’t let her gaze linger there.
“Just muttering to myself,” she said.
