So after “Do You Feel,” we’d come off, do the lines, do the shot, and then go back out and do the encores. Being on stage in front of that many people—you hear this huge roar and scream of the crowd. You finish the show, rush off stage, and moments later, you’re speeding away in a car in total silence. That’s the most surreal moment of the night, when your ears are ringing but it’s completely silent in the car. You go back to the hotel and try to stay as high as you were on stage, which you can never do.
