Bad experiences with people from other groups turn out to have disproportionately more power in forming prejudice in ideas and behavior.

We communicate emotionally with our partners because we are close to them, we seek to understand and be understood. But we also rely on a "closeness bias." We assume our partners already know what we mean, that they can read our minds a little, and we want that. We may communicate emotionally more fluidly with strangers because we don't assume they already know what we mean.

The journey of pursuing the things that make us happy, pursuing the things we are talented in, is a journey to greatness.

Creating the dream is living the dream, and constantly being able to take one more step, even when that step looks too difficult to take, even when we think we may fall too far, or too hard, even when we know it'll mean going against the convention of what the people around us are doing, taking one more step keeps us creating the dream, which in essence is living the dream.

The process of honing our skills is a lifelong journey, and the beginning of the process is possibly the most important part -because we truly need to discover how deep our love for it goes.

but to succeed we must commit to it, we must believe that it is the thing for us, it is where our happiness and fortune lies.

If we continue to believe, and make decisions based on where our heart really lies, we can never make a bad decision

The beginning is the hardest, it is where what little faith we have at this point will be tested and tested fully - how do we respond to the test?

Listen only to your heart, it will tell you. Whether you decide to follow through on what it tells you, is up to you, but it is the key to unlocking everything.

We'll never know what can happen unless we give it a shot, and that's all we need - the courage to give it a shot.
