في قديم الزمان , حين لم يكن على الأرض اناس بعد ,كانت الفضائل و الرذائل تطوف العالم معًا , وتشعر بالملل الشديد ! ذات يوم وللخروج من هذا الملل اقترح الجنون لعبة واسماها الأستغماية احب الجميع الفكرة .وصرخ الجنون :اريد ان أبدأ انا صاحب الفكرة وانا من سيغمض عينيه ويبدأ العد . وانتم عليكم الأختباء , وبدأ يعد وبدأت الفضائل والرذائل بالاختباء الرقة وجدت مكانا لنفسها في القمر واخفت الخيانة نفسها في كومة طين واندس الأمل بين الغيوم ! الكذب قال بصوت عال : سأخفي نفسي تحت الحجارة ومضى الشوق الى قعر بحيرة طبرية واستمر الجنون بالعد .خلال ذلك اتمت الفضائل والرذائل اختباءها , ما عدا الحب كعادته لم يكن صاحب قرار , تابع الجنون : تسعة وتسعون ...مائة ,حينها قفز الحب داخل شجيرة ورد ,فتح الجنون عينيه وبدأ البحث وجدهم الجنون جميعًا ماعدا الحب فكاد يصيب بالاحباط ,لكن الحسد اقترب منه وهمس :الحب مختف في شجيرة الورد التقط الجنون شوكة كبيرة كرأس رمح وبدأ بطعن شجرة الورد ,لم يتوقف الا عندما سمع بكاء يمزق القلوب ظهر الحب وهو يحجب عينيه بيديه والدم يقطر بين اصابعه , صاح الجنون :يا الهي ماذا فعلت؟ ماذا افعل كي اصلح غلطتي بعد ان افقدتك البصر؟ اجابه الحب:لن تستطيع اعاد النظر الي لن تستطيع . مرت ايام والحزن يخيم على كل شيئ . وذات صباح عاد الجنون وقال للحب: اريد ان اصلح غلطتي ساعدني! قال الحب : هل انت متأكد من ذلك , ايا كان ما سأطلبه ؟ فقال الجنون : سأفعل كل ما تريد اطرق الحب بعد صمت طويل :كن دليلي وهذا ما حصل منذ تلك الأيام .يمضي الحب في الأرض اعمى ,ويقوده الجنون.
