We sometimes reveal how ignorant or bored we were when we read a book by giving it 5-stars.

This is the explanation I used to have on the site before my page got turned into an author's page. Don't get butt hurt if I give you a 2 or 3 star rating. That means your book was good. I give very few 4 star ratings cause that means your book is gonna be a reread for me. I don't reread a lot of books. I think I gave less than a handful of 5 stars. 5 stars means that I think the book is a GREAT GREAT. Like a classic that will still be read in a 100 years, at least if I were alive it would be. As you can see I don't buy into the hoopla that everybody is great. It's not true. Most are average. Some suck. Some are great. If you want a visual go google bell curve. Life has winners and losers. Not everyone deserves a gold star. Suck it up.

I hardly give 5 stars to a book in my review. I do not want the authors to reach a saturation point, where they think they have done their best; they can always go beyond what they have achieved so far - should always go beyond - Keep growing.

Indy beware. Suddenly my books ceased to sell on Amazon and Smashwords. Checking the internet I found that they were also being sold by readabookpage,com and euro-books.net neither of which I have authorised . Worse still they claim to have had 290 four star reviews for them which would equipage to a majority of 5 X stars. Moreover, probably only 1 in 20 people , maybe more, ever write a review. So, by my sums, they have probably shifted over 5.800 books and me c.$7,000 out of pocket. Nice to know they are selling so well, sad I don't get the benefits. Unless Amazon, Smashwords, Apple Books, B and N etc.. get together to get pirate sites closed down , then there is very little future in indy books

I was given a copy of this book by Author S.K. Ballinger. It did have some edits that needs to be fixed, but the story line was so intriguing that I could not put it down. The characters were brought to life very well & it made it easy to get to know each of them. The details were so on target that it was like watching a movie in my head. For those of you that haven't read this book, it's a different approach for werewolves. I don't want to give anything away, but Stan & Kain are some awesome characters that I believe everyone should get to know. When reading a book that was put together this well that you can't put it down, it makes me wonder why I haven't heard of this author before & why it's not on film for everyone's viewing pleasure. It's not very often that I find a book like this that I really care about pushing it out there, so those of you that know me will know it must be good. S.K. Ballinger is a great man & a family man. I've never met him in person, but he's definitely got enough heart for everyone to push him to the top. So I urge everyone to spread this name around & most definitely this book, because I'm sure we haven't heard the last out of him. I would hope to see a lot more coming in the near future. It was extremely useful to read for a family member to gain understanding and knowledge about what a person living with Bipolar experiences. Thoughtful and direct communication about her own life and struggles as well as victories. This book is a useful read for many! It is hard to find easy chapter books that are so nicely illustrated in colour. This is a well-thought-out book, from the engaging storyline to the vibrant picture support.
