It takes courage to wait for a God-scripted love story…

An angle of worship is birthed through our surrender to obedience. One of the ways we love and worship God is by obeying. Obedience is truly better than sacrifice.

I was aware that pain was part of this prescription, but I also recognized that this sweet promise of a new start was consistent for as long as I chose to obey and yield to God’s plan

As a result, I wondered if it was possible to live such an adventurous life as a lady, and give yourself wholly in love to one God and one man

Is it possible to wait for God’s best for you? Is it even possible to trust that there is a God’s best for your life concerning your heart?

Patterns of the world are what I recall in this season, especially in my college and campus (undergraduate) years following two major tragedies I had no control over but had to walk through. Prescribed trouble is what I call it.

This began the process of my healing and the realization of whom and whose I was…

I began to walk through an authenticating process and led to get rid of any false and pretentious form I had been wearing as a mask

I resolutely came around to realizing that it would take grace and courage to obey

So with that, our lives as they are, are either ceaselessly worshiping God or ceaselessly worshiping something else

A beautiful marriage and a deeply beautiful love story are perks of how you view God and people

In my case, I didn’t know how to give and how to receive. In both scenarios, pride at its height was the cause

Bravehearted Musings Seated, lost for where to begin (not how to begin) this book gets birthed

And the tangible fruit of our wait is the miracle of our marriage each day

I often have mused at the radical direction God would take with some of the relationships in the bible

It is important to desire a whole love story and not just any love story, setting the bar up high

Trying to please people or trying to conform must have been the most frustrating season I went through.

I tried to talk like them, cursing and cussing, mutilating the English language into a slang that I could barely stand nor understand.

My father passed on. This particular pain and loss was so deep I thought I would lose my mind.

At this point, probably in my late teens, I had stopped reading the bible. I think I wanted to read it (just to earn some heaven points), but there was always some urgent peer pressure call that I had to answer to. Almost like trying to fit into a dress three sizes smaller.
