Voyager 1 uzay aracı, Dünya’dan 6 milyar kilometre kadar uzaklıkta keşfetti bu hayatı. Güneş Sistemi’nin dışına çıkmaya hazırlanırken, Carl Sagan’ın özel ricasıyla NASA tarafından kamerası Güneş sistemine çevrildi ve 14 Şubat 1990 günü ‘sevgili’ ailemizin yani Güneş Sistemimizin fotoğrafını çekti.
