Pandemic Bible Quotes

No man can comfort our souls in this pandemic the way God can. His comfort is unshakable. It is the comfort of a great, high Rock in the stormy sea. It comes from his word, the Bible.

We are living in a fear epidemic, stoked in part by a 24/7 media that makes tragedies from around the world seem part of our everyday experience, or makes a global pandemic appear to be crouching at our door. We live in a time of great uncertainty, when important things that we once thought we could rely upon, like a job for life, have been taken from us. Perhaps not since World War II has a generation been exposed to such uncertainty and fear. The causes may be different, but the effects can be the same. In such a time as this, if you want to live your life free from fear then remind yourself, every day, that your shepherd is with you, every step of the way. Trust in him, your shepherd is with you always, and he is mighty to save.

God created the cosmos and everything in it. He created the earth so that he could be with the people he created. Unfortunately, the first two people — Adam and Eve — rejected God’s vision for his creation, causing sin to enter into their nature and thereby making them unfit for community with a holy God. The greatest pandemic ever experienced by humanity is the transference of this sin “DNA” to every generation.

Europe had come out of the fourteenth century pandemic as a world in flux. In this milieu, it was possible to think the unthinkable. With the outbreak of the H1N1 virus, moderns have been reintroduced to the threat of pandemics. We have always been susceptible, of course, but most of us have short memories. When the next plague strikes, do we cite Psalm 91:5-7?

In March 2020, are we really in need of the motivational speakers or motivational books? To motivate us for what? For staying home? To those who need it, it's Ok. But I believe that we need the Bible! And this is why I love the Bible, the infallible word of the Lord; because the word of the Lord is always up to date and the one who trusts in His word will never be put to shame. It is written: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Says the Lord Jesus Christ.

During this time of pandemic. Treat your Church like distance learning, In order to get better results, protection, prosperity and blessings in your life. You need to put in more work than usually. You need read the bible more. You need to pray more. You need to intercede more. You need to be good more. You need to rely on God more than you do on your pastor, bishop or congregation.
