Overlooking the Pacific Ocean reminded me of Andy Dufresne the fictional character that Stephen King brought to life in his triumphant tale β Shaw-Shank Redemption. My visual memory recalled the words βI hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreamsβ I can still hear Morgan Freeman whispering these words in my head. Sometimes in life we get to see a past event coincide with what is happening in the moment; leaving you wondering βhow in the hell did that happen?β I realized that all the things that I had experienced up to this very moment as I looked out over the Pacific Ocean served a purpose. Did I understand each one? Not even close. I only saw the harmony, the magic, stuff we feel: things we cannot touch β only the heart knows this space.
