I Am God's Masterpiece Quotes

I am not a little bit of many things; but I am the sufficient representation of many things. I am not an incompletion of all these races; but I am a masterpiece of the prolific. I am an entirety, I am not a lack of anything; rather I am a whole of many things. God did not see it needful to make me generic. He thinks I am better than that.

I DECLARE I am special and extraordinary. I am not average! I have been custom-made. I am one of a kind. Of all the things God created, what He is the most proud of is me. I am His masterpiece, his most prized possession. I will keep my head held high, knowing I am a child of the most high God, made in his very image. This is my declaration.

The Bible says, “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.”1 Our English word poem comes from the Greek word translated “workmanship.” You are God’s handcrafted work of art. You are not an assembly-line product, mass produced without thought. You are a custom-designed, one-of-a-kind, original masterpiece.

God made you as you are on purpose. He gave you your looks, your height, your skin color, your nose, your personality. Nothing about you is by accident. You didn’t get overlooked. You didn’t get left out. God calls you His masterpiece. Instead of going around feeling down on yourself, unattractive, too tall, too short, not enough of this, or too much of that, dare to get up in the morning and say, “I am a masterpiece. I am created in the image of Almighty God.

Ask for the grace to let God continue to sculpt or paint me in different images. Those images (good & bad) make up a collection that becomes a masterpiece. When I am finished and framed, I will be hung on heaven’s walls.

For Nietzsche, woman was God's second mistake. But what then is the first? I don't know, even if I believed in the God of Abraham and Abrahamic religions, it would be a bit diffucult for me to answer it. However, based on the religious scriptures, one can assume that God was a bit disappointed with his masterpiece -- Adam, realised that life in Paradise seems a bit incomplete, uninteresting for him, he cannot find the meaning of his life, therefore God decided to correct his mistake by creating Eve to be Adam's love. The sacrifice that Jesus made upon the cross was made for each of us, and His love endures to the edge of eternity and beyond. Christ is the ultimate Savior of mankind and the personal Savior of those who believe in Him. As His servants, we should place Him at the very center of our lives. And, every day that God gives us breath, we should share Christ’s love and His message with a world that needs both. Christ’s love changes everything. When you accept His gift of grace, you are transformed, not only for today, but also for all eternity. If you haven’t already done so, accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. He’s waiting patiently for you to invite Him into your heart. Please don’t make Him wait a single minute longer. How will I forget the memory that happened on the 29th of September 2017? Bunso woke up early that day and asked me if we could paint. Of course, I said yes! I guided his hand in doing soft strokes in creating his requested "fireworks". Then I had to turn off the stove because I was cooking breakfast. When I came back, he was giggling and showed me what he did. He wrote the words 'I LOVE YOU' all by himself and he told me that he wanted to decorate his masterpiece with hearts and stars. I could not control my tears. Tears of joy perhaps because for the very first time, he tried his best to show his love and affection for me through art which he could not express through words. A moment like that has shown me how much God loves me. I may be experiencing struggles, doing more sacrifice, and adjusting to the needs of Bunso like other moms who have kids with special needs. At the end of the day, I know that there is a reason why God has given me Bunso. Perhaps He knows that I can love him unconditionally. Yes, I can and I do truly. I am so glad that he loves me too beyond words can express.

The beautiful writing and delightful atmosphere made me fall in love with the story, full of Russian folklore. I mean, I’m a sucker for myths and fairy tales, but god, this book made an amazing work retelling them. Really recommend it. I will definitely be picking the sequel next month, when cold finally settles in and I can read it with my blanket and my hot cup of coffee on a windy evening. “In Russian, Frost was called Morozko, the demon of winter. My soul clings to yours. Each piece wedging into you, every vein tangling around your thoughts. Whole beats of my heart thumping your name. I am hopelessly enthralled by your simple existence. The fad that somehow God could put together such a masterpiece of color and beauty. You are a work of art.

I am the universe brought conscious to reflect the masterpiece of the gods.

You are going to discover that you are the Masterpiece of God, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for you to do.  You are going to see that you are an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of your testimony.  You are going to understand a new meaning of being the salt of the earth and the light of the world. 

The other day somebody asked me to name the one thing I would change about myself if I could. I don’t mean to sound arrogant, but I couldn’t think of anything. Now, there are plenty of areas in which I need and want to improve, but here’s my point: I don’t sit around thinking about everything that’s wrong with me. I don’t have all my flaws, weaknesses, and shortcomings at the forefront of my mind. I don’t go through the day reliving my failures, beating myself up for past mistakes, or letting a negative recording condemn me for everything that I’m not. I say this with humility: “I like myself. I’m happy with who I am. I’m proud of who God made me to be.” Again, I’m not bragging on me, I’m bragging on the goodness of God. I know that I’m the apple of His eye. I know that I’m a masterpiece. I know that I’m His prized possession, fearfully and wonderfully made.

Dear God, Thank You for being the Maker of all things new. As a believer who trusts in Jesus, I affirm that the old has gone and the new is here. I am a new creation. Today is a new day. Help me to make the right decisions and say goodbye to the former things, like bad habits, addictions, and negative attitudes. Help me in each day to become more aware of whose I am. Teach me to reflect Your image and not mimic the patterns of this world. Transform my mind so I will grow in Your wisdom and discernment and discover what Your plan is for my life. When I get overwhelmed by doubt or insecurity, remind me that in You I am a masterpiece—that even before I was in my mother’s womb, You created me to do good works in Your name. I pray those things come to pass in their right time. As I begin to grow and learn through these devotionals, open my spiritual eyes and ears to recognize the hope of Your calling and to value what’s most important. Thank You for leading and guiding me. Today, I commit to live as loved. I choose to believe I am fully and wholeheartedly loved by God for exactly who I am. I don’t have to be more, do more, or achieve more to be loved by Him. When I am tempted to believe the lies that have held me back for so many years, I will replace those lies with the truth that I am fully loved by God. Jesus loves me unconditionally and doesn’t judge me based upon my kids’ behaviors or choices. I will put my hope in Him, not in my child’s choices. I choose to be okay with my children making mistakes and messing up because I know this is why Jesus came. I will focus on pointing my kids to Jesus and will no longer spend my days trying to be my children’s rescuer and Holy Spirit. I choose to open my tightly clenched fists trying to control all of life, and hold out my hands to accept the gift of God’s love for me. I refuse to believe the lies that tell me I’m not measuring up and am missing the mark of perfection as a parent. Instead, I choose to rest in the truth that I am created in the image of God and He sees me as His masterpiece. I don’t have to beat myself up when I feel like I don’t have what it takes but will remember that I am enough in Christ. I was made for more than living a life stifled by lies and suffocated by false beliefs. I will replace those lies with the truth of who I am in Christ. I am loved. I am forgiven. I am enough in Christ. Jesus, thank You for loving me exactly as I am. Thank You for not expecting me to parent perfectly, but for being the Ultimate Example of a Love-Centered Parent to me. I rest in Your amazing love for me. Let me be a conduit of God’s love to others. May it pour through me and spill out to everyone I come into contact with.
