Boom gone, Yeah we move on Even if we try to forget CHORUS: Love will remember you, Love will remember me, I know it inside my heart, Forever will, forever be ours, Even if we try to forget, Love will remember 5x

the most dangerous humans are the women who realize they don't need anyone after facing the hurricane alone
Gretchen Gomez (love, and you)
You said you loved me,I said I loved you back. What happened to that?
Selena Gómez
You fall in love and it completely consumes you. So a part of you is broken when that's gone. And part of you wants to have that rebellious feeling where you're just like "Forget it- I can do anything i want" I've tried it and I've never been that girl. I'm always going to be the girl you want to take home to your parents, not for the night.
Selena Gómez
he completed the thoughts inside my head. not my sentences.   my thoughts   - he understood my silence
Gretchen Gomez (love, and you)
he loves me. i know he does.   the look in his eyes, the way he tries.   resentment came to visit a few times.   there was an aroma of greatness from the experienced potential we once danced in.
Gretchen Gomez (love, and you)
"Whoaaaaa–AARRRGGGGGGGHHHH...shove two fingers down my throat and pull out my heart...to prove that you love meeee...!" Clutching her iPod, Nellie emerged from the hatch ad lurched towards them, like creature put together from spare parts–a motion that Dan and Amy recognized as dancing. Pulling out her earbuds, she raised her face to the sky and let the rain pelt her for a few seconds. "Whoo-hoo, that is better than a facial!" she cried, running to join Dan and Amy under the overhang. "Stick around," Dan said, "for a lava treatment.
Peter Lerangis (The Viper's Nest (The 39 Clues, #7))
do not look for me in other people.   i do not exist elsewhere   and when you meet another, do not mention my name nor keep me in your memory.   for surely you will try to find me in her but you will not be satisfied. forget me. and make sure she doesn't read this book.

Everyone with a lick of sense loves Morticia, but what is Gomez Addams, besides “an obviously transsexual man”?
Daniel Mallory Ortberg (Something That May Shock and Discredit You)
Do souls need love to survive? Or does love need souls to survive?
Sofia Gomez Puente
When I was on a book tour last year, I saw a sign in a bookstore in a seaside town in Maine that was carefully drawn with popular symbols of coastal living and these words were entwined: Hope anchors the soul. From that childhood that many might call "disadvantaged," I was anchored in the belief that most things are possible.
Jewelle L. Gómez (Radical Hope: Letters of Love and Dissent in Dangerous Times)
Dead-end streets and boulevards You threw in the towel, I broke your heart But there's a first time for everything Who would've thought you'd feel so cold And all these memories seem so old To think you were my everything Remember when we'd talk all night But time ain't easy on us, how can love die? I got so much shit to say But I can't help feeling like I'm camouflage Fortress around my heart You were mine just yesterday Now I have no idea who you are It's like you camouflage
Hearts Can Break and Never Make a Sound
There came a point in my life where there were so many things being said on my behalf, and I found myself protecting people that didn't really protect me, but I had a right to say my side of the story. And I felt like that was so liberating because it almost felt like I had let it go, personally, inside of me once it was out.
Hearts Can Break and Never Make a Sound
And I just want to wake up next to you, exhausted with the adventures from the night before still lingering on our skin.

a kindly reminder: you’re magical
Gretchen Gomez (love, and you)
Maybe there are things we will never understand, things that we can’t wrap our mortal, logical brains around. Extraordinary moments that feel like miracles, signs we are loved beyond our wildest imagination
Anna Gomez (Moments Like This (From Kona With Love))
If I gave you every piece of me, I know that you could drop it Give you the chance, I know that you could take advantage once you got it If I open up my heart to you, I know that you could lock it Throw away the key and keep it there forever in your pocket If I gave the opportunity to you, then would you blow it? If I was the greatest thing that happened to you, would you know it? If my love was like a flower, would you plant it, would you grow it? I might give you all my body, are you strong enough to hold it? If I show you all my demons And we dive into the deep end Would we crash and burn like every time before? I would tell you all my secrets Wrap your arms around my weakness If the only other option's letting go
Hearts Can Break and Never Make a Sound
Turn my back to the door, Feels so much better now No need to try, anymore Nothing left to lose As the voice that's in the air saying, 'Don't look back to nowhere' There's a force that's always there And I'll never be, quite the same as I was before these, Part of you, still remains Oh, its out of focus Your just somewhere that I've been And I won't go back again And I'll never be like I was, the day I met you To naive? Yes, I was Boy that's why I let you in Wear your memory like a stain Can't erase or numb the pain, Here to stay with me forever I'm breathing in, breathing out Ain't that what it's all about? Living life, crazing loud Like I have the right to No more words, in my mouth, Nothing left to figure out, But I don't think I'll ever break through, The ghost of you.

I knew I lived in a country founded on the murder of the body and the spirit of others. Native American nations were decimated with little regret, Africans fell beneath the same juggernaut, and all of the bloodshed was aided and abetted by practitioners of Christianity who manufactured innumerable ways to glorify Manifest Destiny and slavery. The Founding Fathers thought it easier to subjugate by dehumanizing their prey; their descendants find it easier to subjugate their prey by humanizing and prioritizing corporate entities.
Jewelle L. Gómez (Radical Hope: Letters of Love and Dissent in Dangerous Times)
Your indomitable spirit survived whatever the mainstream culture threw at you, whether it was a malnourishing diet of endless corn as a child or the condescension of my high school guidance counselors. You had seen the worst that the United States had to offer and come through by virtue of determination and perhaps your own hope. Most importantly, you taught me that sense of hope and determination to me.
Jewelle L. Gómez (Radical Hope: Letters of Love and Dissent in Dangerous Times)
I understood your hope came not from some belief in the triumph of good or the kindness of politicians and bureaucrats. Your hope came from within; something inside you harbored and nourished a spark that had not been squelched and would always burn inside you and those you were able to touch. I came to believe that light inside came from the pride of knowing you were part of a long line in history that could survive.
Jewelle L. Gómez (Radical Hope: Letters of Love and Dissent in Dangerous Times)
Moreno, Morelos, Cantine, Gomez, Gutierrez, Villanousul, Ureta, Licon, Navarro, Iturbi; Jorge, Filomena, Nena, Manuel, Jose, Tomas, Ramona. This man walked and this man sang and this man had three wives; and this man died of this, and that of that, and the third from another thing, and the fourth was shot, and the fifth was stabbed and the sixth fell straight down dead; and the seventh drank deep and died dead, and the eighth died in love, and the ninth fell from him horse, and the tenth coughed blood, and the eleventh stopped his heart, and the twelfth used to laugh much, and the thirteenth was a dancing one, and the fourteenth was most beautiful of all, the fifteenth had ten children and the sixteenth is one of those children as is the seventeenth; and the eighteenth was Tomas and did well with his guitar; the next three cut maize in their fields, had three lovers each; the twenty-second was never loved; the twenty-third sold tortillas, patting and shaping them each at the curb before the Opera House with her little charcoal stove; and the twenty-fourth beat his wife and now she walks proudly in the town and is merry with new men and here he stands bewildered by this unfair thing, and the twenty-fifth drank several quarts of river with his lungs and was pulled forth in a net, and the twenty-sixth was a great thinker and his brain now sleeps like a burnt plum in his skull.
Ray Bradbury (The October Country)
This week I was watching the Rachel Maddow Show (you'd love her: she's funny and brilliant and just happens to be a stunning butch), and she was interviewing the outgoing attorney general, Loretta Lynch, about the country's post election future. The entire show was like a burst of hope so bright I almost had to put on sunglasses. The African American attorney general, prim and plump, sat perched on a barstool talking to a white butch lesbian who has her own national television news show! The event was being recorded in the Stonewall Inn, the site of one of the first places where queer people fought back against police violence! (I was so nervous about being a lesbian in 1969, I hid the tiny newspaper clipping from you.) Simply that the interview was happening made me remember that there are people in the world who are not such egotistical, political careerists as to believe that human rights don't matter. Then, as if just showing up wasn't enough, Attorney General Lynch spoke a truth that is hard to remember from our short-lived perspective: "History is bigger than one turn of the electoral wheel." During your eighty-eight years on this plane, you saw numerous turns of the wheel, and many of them did not land on a prize. Still, toward the end of your life, you took me in and bestowed not just a roof and clothes and food but the gift of your history and the knowledge that we find hope inside ourselves.
Jewelle L. Gómez (Radical Hope: Letters of Love and Dissent in Dangerous Times)

If you have to chose, chose to die for love than to live with hate.

Api? Why’d you stay? Why didn’t you give up on our friendship like everyone else did?” “Are you kidding me? First of all, that’s what friendship is about. Love, loyalty, growing, staying. But more than that, you’re actually pretty awesome as a person. Plus, I’m pretty pushy so when you hide, I push. We work well together.
Anna Gomez (Moments Like This (From Kona With Love))
Now, tell me. How is your heart doing, ku’u aloha?” She called me her love. In Hawaiian. “Healing,” I answered.

In 2016, pop icon and actor Selena Gomez posted a photo on Instagram of herself in a dressing room watching The Big Bang Theory on her computer with the caption that read “The one thing that gets me going before anything… Sheldon Cooper—Big Bang Theory.” Molaro saw the post, which sparked an idea. Steve Molaro: After I had heard she liked the show, we approached Selena’s team a couple of times to have her on, but it never worked out due to scheduling reasons, etc. I’m a fan of hers and would have loved to have had her on. I never even got to pitch it to them, but I had kicked around an idea that Amy had been complaining about her awful stepsister and what a bitch she was. Which would be news because we didn’t even know she had one. This, of course, was before we established Amy’s dad and mom were still together. When we meet this stepsister, played by Selena, she’s beautiful and great and everyone loves her and Amy was just being jealous. It never got further than that. It would have been fun if it could have worked

have it all planned out.” He lifts up his hand to start listing things off. “On Monday, I was thinking Carly Rae Jepsen, then on Tuesday, some Justin Bieber—because everyone loves the Biebs—and on Wednesday I’d sing some Taylor Swift. On Thursday, I was thinking that new Selena Gomez song, it’s perfect for our situation, but Friday—” “STOP!” I yell. My hands lift up, ready to strangle him if he doesn’t stop talking. This is something I really, really need to think about. Now, he’s basically admitting to wanting to torture me with music—which is not a good thing—if I refuse him. If I do agree to the date, it’s only one night, a few hours of my life. Maybe I should just agree even if I really don’t want to. What’s the harm, really? “I will go out with you,” I relent quietly; admitting defeat, damn it. “Seriously?” Ryder’s eyes widen. He looks shocked. He looks like he didn’t expect me to cave so quickly. “Yes, if it means that I never, ever, have to hear you sing again.” I heave out a loud, rough, exaggerated sigh. “I will. One date.” The sound of his shrill squealing is on constant repeat in my brain. “No one should hear you sing. Ever again.” “That bad, huh?

I've longed for you so, while my connection to the rest of reality has torn. It is that you have lost me. And I have lost you, longing for more than my enough.

Let the energy of experience be in configuration to the unknown. Know love crosses all paths in many forms, felt and never seen. Almost always.
Brandi Gomez (No War is Anyone's War)
At the time, it seemed everything was falling apart by no reason. My mind was dramatic in its ignorant stage. I knew nothing of what love was, nor the presence of a greater being within myself. Everything seemed overwhelming, and little did I know, I would conquer the voids of this falsity.
