It is through our disconnection with our womb centre that we have lost our soul-fullness, the feeling of being whole and complete in who we are. We have also lost contact with the guidance and purpose of our soul, and the feelings of empowerment and lasting inner strength and peace that it offers us.

Until we ingratiate this most valuable resource that society has—feminine energy—we will not be able to turn the tide from violence to reconciliation or from dishonesty to integrity.

The empowerment of women and girls sounds good to political donors and ordinary voters alike. Yet these sorts of allegedly empowering interventions conveniently de-link the current condition of women from colonial histories, global capital expansion, transnational investment, and the continued exploitation of feminine labor. Women, it is assumed, are poor because of their culture or the lack of agency or even feminist consciousness, not ever because colonial plunder depleted resources or because current capitalist investment interests calculate their value based on the lowest wage they can be paid to make t-shirts or jeans. The fact that poor countries like Vietnam or Bangladesh cannot compete at the global level without capitulating to these corporate demands, Investors will simply turn elsewhere and exploit the women of some other poor country is not considered. Neither is any attention paid to the fact, that all of these forces direct the women away from rather than to warn a political consciousness.

The most radical thing a woman can do is come home to her body.

Some women fear the fire. Some women simply become it.

It sometimes seemed as though there was no place for a reserved woman in the world. One was either maternal or harsh. Warm or cold. Mirai wore her chilly nature as a badge of shame, though she knew herself to be deeper and more complex than such a label. If the rest of the world was unable to see her, so be it. Mirai knew that she was more than just one thing. More than just one box. She was a myriad.

The extent of violation of women and violence of the earth perpetuated by men does not mean that all men are perpetrators. It is important to acknowledge that there are many forward-thinking males around the world who recognize these same problems and are working in collaboration with women to change them. While I am focusing on the needs of the empowerment of women in this book and the devastating results of the lack of women's equality and their abuse, and ultimately we need a partnership society, in the end we need to develop the model of mutually empowered partnership with men rather than domination of either gender. Societies that promote power with, rather than power over, each other. The loss of feminine qualities is an urgent psychological and ecological issue in modern society. It is a painful loss in our emotional lives and a disastrous loss for the safety of life on earth. In women, it affects their central identity, and in men, it affects his ability to feel and value. The loss of the feminine in men causes him to feel moody and lonely. In women, it causes her to lose faith in herself. We are slowly awakening to the crisis of the earth and the effect of the loss of the sacred feminine. The few people understand that the causes of this crisis have spiritual values at their roots. Values of the sacred as eminent, immanent, imbued in all of life, and all life as interdependent.

As we remember the importance of the enlightened feminine in this book, as in the story of Tara that I shared in the Introduction, we must bear in mind that ultimately in the absolute sense, gender is an illusion, just another one of those illusions that we attach to and fixate on so firmly. At the same time, as Tara also said, in the relative world, empowerment has been the domain of one gender. And therefore she vows: "Those who wish to attain Supreme enlightment in a man's body are many, but those who wish to serve the aims of beings in a woman’s body are few indeed; therefore may I, until this world is emptied out, work for the benefit of sentient beings in a woman's body." She makes a commitment not only for enlightenment, but to have all our voices heard: our human rights respected, violence and rape cease, serial harassment end, and women's issues represented at the table where decisions that affect us all are being made.

But when you pour positivity, love and empowerment into yourself, satisfaction suddenly becomes readily available. Then, your outer world begins to mirror the internal one.

Dear Fellowship of Astrology, According to my astrology faith, Venus is the goddess of fertility, feminine energy, creation, and renewal. It is the divine power that blesses wombs with fruitful outcomes. Those who carry a womb are not marked for chaos, nor are they marked for death. They are the bearers of life itself. Yet, I believe that because of their sacred gift and their fertile carriage of creation, they naturally attract those who wish them harm; those who seek to defile their bodies and all that sets them apart. For when the original House of fertility and creation is destroyed, the very foundation of life itself begins to fall. To my fellow worshippers of astrology: let us remember the divine message of Venus which is to honour the womb, to protect creation, and to rise in the radiant strength of the feminine force.
