I have rarely seen my husband angry. I boil over and blurt things out and generally find myself issuing apologies fairly frequently in our marriage. Jeff, though, is the embodiment of being slow to anger. The exception to this is if he is watching ESPN. Apparently there are a bunch of athletes out there that need to “learn how to play a kid’s game” or something. The whole thing is quite frustrating for him, which is understandable since he sees himself as some sort of father figure to the players. I mean, that is what I am assuming based on the fact that he spends a lot of time yelling, “COME ON, SON!” at our television.
