Externally directed, their priority is to understand more about their surroundings (often in great depth) and the people that surround them, rather than about themselves. As they take in data, they are exercising their iNtuitive (I) function, automatically organizing these pieces in order to see the patterns, trends and themes that connect them.

People that seek to control their time, creativity or process will be thorns in their sides. The ENTP can be very productive and successful, but will struggle to do so under the structure and micromanagement of someone else. They find rules and established protocol imprisoning.
