The real dawah to Islam is the character of a Muslim.

The message was wrong, I knew that now, but maybe the tactics were right. Perhaps we could use the methods of the Islamist groups to create a counter-Islamist movement, to do da’wah for the democratic culture?

In thirty years of going to study in Medina, “sitting with the ‘ulama,” “making hijrah,” distributing books from Saudi Arabia, making Dawah, pointing out bid’as, tearing down imams, taking over mosques, backbiting Muslims, putting people on and off “the minhaj,”  and calling other Muslims names, Salafis have established absolutely nothing.

Moderate’ Muslims, and apologists and propagandists for Islam, will attempt to deny or obscure the real meaning, nature, and intent of jihad. However, all of these assertions are examples of a tactic that Islam encourages in waging jihad: taqiyya or Kithman—‘lying,’ ‘deception,’ ‘deceit.’ Muslims are encouraged to lie if, in the opinion of the liar, telling the lie will be ‘good’ for Islam. This is a documented fact according to both ancient and modern scholars of Islam.

"Thus we must fight the enemies of the world through the Holy Book and uncompromising military struggle." Moreover, according to the Conflict with demonic strongholds and moral deception that require spiritual weaponry and armor perception, its enemies are not only external, but also other regimes that cooperate with the unbelievers, evildoers, or secular Arab/African/Western regimes that are considered “infidel.” Therefore, according to Compton Gage, the Holy Book religious law justifies overthrowing them.

مرة وأنا بتكلم مع صاحبي السلفي أستشهدت بمعز مسعود وأ. مصطفى حسني أنهم بيقدموا دعوة للتدين السليم وأن مفيش داعي للتشدد الزائد اللي عند الشيوخ السلفيين. ساعتها صاحبي السلفي قالي خلينا نأجل النقاش في الخلافات الفقهية لأنها محدودة جداً يمكن أقل من 0.01% من الشريعة وأغلبها مقبولة وواخدة أكبر من حجمها، لكن أنت نفسك راجع كلام معز مسعود ومصطفى حسني بتركيز وقارنه بحياتك وتصرفاتك، هل أنت فعلاً بتنفذ كلامهم؟ هل أنت بتنفذ ال99.99% اللي كل الشيوخ والدعاة متفقين عليها؟ مشكلتي ومشكلتك ومشكلة كل المسلمين مش دعاة وسطيين ودعاة متشددين، وإنما مشكلتنا أن إحنا نفسنا مبنّفذش كلام حد فيهم. طبعاً رده دا كان مفاجئ جداً ليا، كنت متوقع أنه يدافع عن فكره وشيوخه ويدخل معايا في المناظرات اللي بحبها عن حكم المعازف واللحية وصلاة الجماعة وصفة الحجاب ومصافحة النساء وباقي المسائل المشهورة اللي أنا حافظ ردودها من النت وبحب أفتحها وأتكلم فيها بسبب وبدون سبب عشان أحس وأظهر للقدامي أني فاهم فقه كنوع من المراهقة الدينية، ولكنه كعادته كان عاقل جداً ومسمحليش أدخله في جدال عن مشكلة فرعية وإنما رجعني لمشكلتي الأساسية؛ أني أنا نفسي اللي مش كويس وبهرب من الحقيقة دي بأني أنسب فشلي في طاعة ربنا لناس تانية ملهومش سيطرة عليا، بغض النظر مين هما وبيقولوا إيه.

الرغبة اللي جوانا كلنا في الدعوة إلى الله وتوصيل رسالة ربنا للناس دي حاجة رائعة، بل هي السبيل الوحيد لدخول الجنة، لكننا لو معرفناش نوجهها صح بمنهج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم الحقيقي هنتسبب في ضرر أكبر من لو سبنا الناس في حالها بدون ما ندعوهم إلى الله، او كما نظن.
