A NATION'S GREATNESS DEPENDS ON ITS LEADER
To vastly improve your country and truly make it great again, start by choosing a better leader. Do not let the media or the establishment make you pick from the people they choose, but instead choose from those they do not pick. Pick a leader from among the people who is heart-driven, one who identifies with the common man on the street and understands what the country needs on every level. Do not pick a leader who is only money-driven and does not understand or identify with the common man, but only what corporations need on every level.
Pick a peacemaker. One who unites, not divides. A cultured leader who supports the arts and true freedom of speech, not censorship. Pick a leader who will not only bail out banks and airlines, but also families from losing their homes -- or jobs due to their companies moving to other countries. Pick a leader who will fund schools, not limit spending on education and allow libraries to close. Pick a leader who chooses diplomacy over war. An honest broker in foreign relations. A leader with integrity, one who says what they mean, keeps their word and does not lie to their people. Pick a leader who is strong and confident, yet humble. Intelligent, but not sly. A leader who encourages diversity, not racism. One who understands the needs of the farmer, the teacher, the doctor, and the environmentalist -- not only the banker, the oil tycoon, the weapons developer, or the insurance and pharmaceutical lobbyist.
Pick a leader who will keep jobs in your country by offering companies incentives to hire only within their borders, not one who allows corporations to outsource jobs for cheaper labor when there is a national employment crisis. Choose a leader who will invest in building bridges, not walls. Books, not weapons. Morality, not corruption. Intellectualism and wisdom, not ignorance. Stability, not fear and terror. Peace, not chaos. Love, not hate. Convergence, not segregation. Tolerance, not discrimination. Fairness, not hypocrisy. Substance, not superficiality. Character, not immaturity. Transparency, not secrecy. Justice, not lawlessness. Environmental improvement and preservation, not destruction. Truth, not lies.
Most importantly, a great leader must serve the best interests of the people first, not those of multinational corporations. Human life should never be sacrificed for monetary profit. There are no exceptions. In addition, a leader should always be open to criticism, not silencing dissent. Any leader who does not tolerate criticism from the public is afraid of their dirty hands to be revealed under heavy light. And such a leader is dangerous, because they only feel secure in the darkness. Only a leader who is free from corruption welcomes scrutiny; for scrutiny allows a good leader to be an even greater leader.
And lastly, pick a leader who will make their citizens proud. One who will stir the hearts of the people, so that the sons and daughters of a given nation strive to emulate their leader's greatness. Only then will a nation be truly great, when a leader inspires and produces citizens worthy of becoming future leaders, honorable decision makers and peacemakers. And in these times, a great leader must be extremely brave. Their leadership must be steered only by their conscience, not a bribe.

Where there were once several competing approaches to medicine, there is now only one that matters to most hospitals, insurers, and the vast majority of the public. One that has been shaped to a great degree by the successful development of potent cures that followed the discovery of sulfa drugs. Aspiring caregivers today are chosen as much (or more) for their scientific abilities, their talent for mastering these manifold technological and pharmaceutical advances as for their interpersonal skills. A century ago most physicians were careful, conservative observers who provided comfort to patients and their families. Today they act: They prescribe, they treat, they cure. They routinely perform what were once considered miracles. The result, in the view of some, has been a shift in the profession from caregiver to technician. The powerful new drugs changed how care was given as well as who gave it.

After the New Deal, economists began referring to America’s retirement-finance model as a “three-legged stool.” This sturdy tripod was composed of Social Security, private pensions, and combined investments and savings. In recent years, of course, two of those legs have been kicked out. Many Americans saw their assets destroyed by the Great Recession; even before the economic collapse, many had been saving less and less. And since the 1980s, employers have been replacing defined-benefit pensions that are funded by employers and guarantee a monthly sum in perpetuity with 401(k) plans, which often rely on employee contributions and can run dry before death. Marketed as instruments of financial liberation that would allow workers to make their own investment choices, 401(k)s were part of a larger cultural drift in America away from shared responsibilities toward a more precarious individualism. Translation: 401(k)s are vastly cheaper for companies than pension plans. “Over the last generation, we have witnessed a massive transfer of economic risk from broad structures of insurance, including those sponsored by the corporate sector as well as by government, onto the fragile balance sheets of American families,” Yale political scientist Jacob S. Hacker writes in his book The Great Risk Shift. The overarching message: “You are on your own.

No league or parliamentary act of any kind will ever prevent such a calamity. These are only new devices for putting the weak at the mercy of the strong.

Today, most people in industrial societies don’t need to know much about the natural world in order to survive. What do you really need to know in order to get by as a computer engineer, an insurance agent, a history teacher or a factory worker? "I've been entertaining this pretty girl with my vast repertoire of daring and heroic adventures from around the globe."
Jake snorted as he opened the refrigerator and pulled out the container of orange juice. "You sound like Blackbeard the pirate. Don't believe a word he says, Alyssa. He's actually Insurance salesman and lies like a rug."
"An Insurance salesman?" She narrowed her eyes at Carter as he flipped three pancackes off the electric griddle sitting on the island and onto a plate for her. "I knew you were conning me," she chastised, then rolled her eyes toward Jake. "He said he was a government spy, like James Bond."
After filling a glass, Jake smirked at his friend who shrugged his shoulders and gave the girl a sad puppy-dog expression. "Who are you going to believe, me or Jake from State Farm?

it was England that shone as Hamilton’s true lodestar in public finance. Back in the 1690s, the British had set up the Bank of England, enacted an excise tax on spirits, and funded its public debt—that is, pledged specific revenues to insure repayment of its debt. During the eighteenth century, it had vastly expanded that public debt. Far from weakening the country, it had produced manifold benefits. Public credit had enabled England to build up the Royal Navy, to prosecute wars around the world, to maintain a global commercial empire. At the same time, government bonds issued to pay for the debt galvanized the economy, since creditors could use them as collateral for loans. By imitating British practice, Hamilton did not intend to make America subservient to the former mother country, as critics claimed. His objective was to promote American prosperity and self-sufficiency and make the country ultimately less reliant on British capital. Hamilton wanted to use British methods to defeat Britain economically.

Do you condemn the kids for not having been blessed with I.Q.s of 120? Can you condemn the kids? Can you condemn anyone? Can you condemn the colleges that give all you need to pass a board of education examination? Do you condemn the board of education for not making the exams stiffer, for not boosting the requirements, for not raising salaries, for not trying to attract better teachers, for not making sure their teachers are better equipped to teach?
Or do you condemn the meatheads all over the world who drift into the teaching profession drift into it because it offers a certain amount of paycheck every month security ,vacation-every summer luxury, or a certain amount of power , or a certain easy road when the other more difficult roads are full of ruts?
Oh he’d seen the meatheads, all right; he’d seen them in every education class he’d ever attended. The simpering female idiots who smiled and agreed with the instructor, who imparted vast knowledge gleaned from profound observations made while sitting at the back of the classroom in some ideal high school in some ideal neighborhood while an ideal teacher taught ideal students.
Or the men who were perhaps the worst, the men who sometimes seemed a little embarrassed, over having chosen the easy road, the road the security, the men who sometimes made a joke about the women not realizing they themselves were poured from the same streaming cauldron of horse manure. Had Rick been one of these men? He did not believe so….
He had wanted to teach, had honestly wanted to teach. He had not considered the security or the two-month vacation, or the short tours. He had simply wanted to teach, and he had considred taeaching a worth-while profession. He had, in fact, considered it the worthiest profession. He had held no illusions about his own capabilities. He could not paint, or write, or compose, or sculpt, or philopshize deeply, or design tall buildings. He could contribute nothing to the world creatively and this had been a disappointment to him until he’d realized he could be a big creator by teaching. For here were minds to be sculptured, here were ideas to be painted, here were lives to shape. To spend his allotted time on earth as a bank teller or an insurance salesman would have seemed an utter waste to Rick. Women, he had reflected had no such problem. Creation had been given to them as a gift and a woman was self-sufficient within her own creative shell. A man needed more which perhaps was one reason why a woman could never understand a man’s concern for the job he had to do.

century. The most visible legacy of the wealth and splendor generated by the medieval spice trade still dazzles the eye today in Venice, whose grand palazzi and magnificent public architecture were built largely on profits from pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, and cloves. A hundred pounds of nutmeg, purchased in medieval Alexandria for ten ducats, might easily go for thirty or fifty ducats on the wharves of Venice. Even after payments for shipping, insurance, and customs duties at both ends, profits well in excess of 100 percent were routine; a typical Venetian galley carried one to three hundred tons between Egypt and Italy and earned vast fortunes for the imaginative and the lucky. During the medieval period, a corpulent Croesus was called a “pepper sack,” not a thoroughgoing insult, since the price of a bag of pepper was usually higher than that of a human being.

A major portion of the cost of defense against foreign aggression in a laissez-faire society would be borne originally by business and industry, as owners of industrial plants obviously have a much greater investment to defend than do owners of little houses in suburbia. If there were any real threat of aggression by a foreign power, businessmen would all be strongly motivated to buy insurance against that aggression, for the same reason that they buy fire insurance, even though they could save money in the short run by not doing so. An interesting result of this fact is that the cost of defense would ultimately tend to be spread among the whole population, since defense costs, along with overhead and other such costs, would have to be included in the prices paid for goods by consumers. So, the concern that “free riders” might get along without paying for their own defense by parasitically depending on the defenses paid for by their neighbors is groundless. It is based on a misconception of how the free-market system would operate. The role of business and industry as major consumers of foreign-aggression insurance would operate to unify the free area in the face of any aggression. An auto plant in Michigan, for example, might well have a vital source of raw materials in Montana, a parts plant in Ontario, a branch plant in California, warehouses in Texas, and outlets all over North America. Every one of these facilities is important to some degree to the management of that Michigan factory, so it will want to have them defended, each to the extent of its importance. Add to this the concern of the owners and managers of these facilities for their own businesses and for all the other businesses on which they, in turn, depend, and a vast, multiple network of interlocking defense systems emerges. The involvement of the insurance companies, with their diversified financial holdings and their far-flung markets would immeasurably strengthen this defensive network. Such a multiple network of interlocking defense systems is a far cry from the common but erroneous picture of small cities, businesses, and individuals, unprotected by a government, falling one by one before an advancing enemy horde.

It removes time from the clock face and revelas the greater truth of its operation, its circularity and its vastness. It will show you the crawl of geological ages, the gradual change of the seasons, and the countless micro-seasons that happen across the year. What American Healthcare Can Learn from Italy: Three Lessons It’s easy. First, learn to live like Italians. Eat their famous Mediterranean diet, drink alcohol regularly but in moderation, use feet instead of cars, stop packing pistols and dropping drugs. Second, flatten out the class structure. Shrink the gap between high and low incomes, raise pensions and minimum wages to subsistence level, fix the tax structure to favor the ninety-nine percent. And why not redistribute lifestyle too? Give working stiffs the same freedom to have kids (maternity leave), convalesce (sick leave), and relax (proper vacations) as the rich. Finally, give everybody access to health care. Not just insurance, but actual doctors, medications, and hospitals. As I write, the future of the Affordable Care Act is uncertain, but surely the country will not fall into the abyss that came before. Once they’ve had a taste of what it’s like not to be one heart attack away from bankruptcy, Americans won’t turn back the clock. Even what is lately being called Medicare for All, considered to be on the fringe left a decade ago and slammed as “socialized medicine,” is now supported by a majority of Americans, according to some polls. In practice, there’s little hope for Italian lessons one and two—the United States is making only baby steps toward improving its lifestyle, and its income inequality is worse every year. But the third lesson is more feasible. Like Italy, we can provide universal access to treatment and medications with minimal point-of-service payments and with prices kept down by government negotiation. Financial arrangements could be single-payer like Medicare or use private insurance companies as intermediaries like Switzerland, without copying the full Italian model of doctors on government salaries. Despite the death by a thousand cuts currently being inflicted on the Affordable Care Act, I am convinced that Americans will no longer stand for leaving vast numbers of the population uninsured, or denying medical coverage to people whose only sin is to be sick. The health care genie can’t be put back in the bottle.

Neil’s feet were still numb from the frostbite. Long exposure up high, sat waiting in the snow for all those hours at the Balcony, had taken their toll. At base camp, we bandaged them up, kept them warm, and purposefully didn’t discuss the very real prospect of him losing his toes.
He didn’t need to be told that he was unlikely ever to feel them again properly.
Either way, we realized that the best option for them was to get him proper medical attention and soon.
There was no way he was going to be walking anywhere with his feet bandaged up like two white balloons. We needed an air-evacuation. Not the easiest of things in the thin air of Everest’s base camp.
The insurance company said that at dawn the next day they would attempt to get him out of there. Weather permitting. But at 17,450 feet we really were on the outer limits of where helicopters could fly.
True to their word, at dawn we heard the distant rotors of a helicopter, far beneath us in the valley. A tiny speck against the vast rock walls on either side.
In a matter of sixty short minutes, that thing could whisk Neil away to civilization, I thought. Hmm.
My goodness, that was a beautiful prospect.
Somehow I had to get on that chopper with him.
I packed in thirty seconds flat, everything from the past three months. I taped a white cross onto my sleeve, and raced out to where Neil was sat waiting.
One chance.
What the heck.
Neil shook his head at me, smiling.
“God, you push it, Bear, don’t you?” he shouted over the noise of the rotors.
“You’re going to need a decent medic on the flight,” I replied, with a smile. “And I’m your man.” (There was at least some element of truth in this: I was a medic and I was his buddy--and yes, he did need help. But essentially I was trying to pull a bit of a fast one.)
The pilot shouted that two people would be too heavy.
“I have to accompany him at all times,” I shouted back over the engine noise. “His feet might fall off at any moment,” I added quietly.
The pilot looked back at me, then at the white cross on my sleeve.
He agreed to drop Neil somewhere down at a lower altitude, and then come back for me.
“Perfect. Go. I’ll be here.” I shook his hand firmly.
Let’s just get this done before anyone thinks too much about it, I mumbled to myself.

There were other important reasons for the growth of American individualism at the expense of community in the second half of the twentieth century besides the nature of capitalism. The first arose as an unintended consequence of a number of liberal reforms of the 1960s and 1970s. Slum clearance uprooted and destroyed many of the social networks that existed in poor neighborhoods, replacing them with an anonymous and increasingly dangerous existence in high-rise public housing units. “Good government” drives eliminated the political machines that at one time governed most large American cities. The old, ethnically based machines were often highly corrupt, but they served as a source of local empowerment and community for their clients. In subsequent years, the most important political action would take place not in the local community but at higher and higher levels of state and federal government. A second factor had to do with the expansion of the welfare state from the New Deal on, which tended to make federal, state, and local governments responsible for many social welfare functions that had previously been under the purview of civil society. The original argument for the expansion of state responsibilities to include social security, welfare, unemployment insurance, training, and the like was that the organic communities of preindustrial society that had previously provided these services were no longer capable of doing so as a result of industrialization, urbanization, decline of extended families, and related phenomena. But it proved to be the case that the growth of the welfare state accelerated the decline of those very communal institutions that it was designed to supplement. Welfare dependency in the United States is only the most prominent example: Aid to Familles with Dependent Children, the depression-era legislation that was designed to help widows and single mothers over the transition as they reestablished their lives and families, became the mechanism that permitted entire inner-city populations to raise children without the benefit of fathers. The rise of the welfare state cannot be more than a partial explanation for the decline of community, however. Many European societies have much more extensive welfare states than the United States; while nuclear families have broken down there as well, there is a much lower level of extreme social pathology. A more serious threat to community has come, it would seem, from the vast expansion in the number and scope of rights to which Americans believe they are entitled, and the “rights culture” this produces. Rights-based individualism is deeply embedded in American political theory and constitutional law. One might argue, in fact, that the fundamental tendency of American institutions is to promote an ever-increasing degree of individualism. We have seen repeatedly that communities tend to be intolerant of outsiders in proportion to their internal cohesiveness, because the very strength of the principles that bind members together exclude those that do not share them. Many of the strong communal structures in the United States at midcentury discriminated in a variety of ways: country clubs that served as networking sites for business executives did not allow Jews, blacks, or women to join; church-run schools that taught strong moral values did not permit children of other denominations to enroll; charitable organizations provided services for only certain groups of people and tried to impose intrusive rules of behavior on their clients. The exclusiveness of these communities conflicted with the principle of equal rights, and the state increasingly took the side of those excluded against these communal organizations.

It is common for one party to a transaction to have better information than another party. In the parlance of economists, such a case is known as an information asymmetry. We accept as a verity of capitalism that someone (usually an expert) knows more than someone else (usually a consumer). But information asymmetries everywhere have in fact been gravely wounded by the Internet.
Information is the currency of the Internet. As a medium, the Internet is brilliantly efficient at shifting information from the hands of those who have it into the hands of those who do not. Often, as in the case of term life insurance prices, the information existed but in a woefully scattered way. (In such instances, the Internet acts like a gigantic horseshoe magnet waved over an endless sea of haystacks, plucking the needle out of each one.) The Internet has accomplished what even the most fervent consumer advocates usually cannot: it has vastly shrunk the gap between the experts and the public.
The Internet has proven particularly fruitful for situations in which a face-to-face encounter with an expert might actually exacerbate the problem of asymmetrical information—situations in which an expert uses his informational advantage to make us feel stupid or rushed or cheap or ignoble. Consider a scenario in which your loved one has just died and now the funeral director (who knows that you know next to nothing about his business and are under emotional duress to boot) steers you to the $8,000 mahogany casket. Or consider the automobile dealership: a salesman does his best to obscure the car’s base price under a mountain of add-ons and incentives. Later, however, in the cool-headed calm of your home, you can use the Internet to find out exactly how much the dealer paid the manufacturer for that car. Or you might just log on to TributeDirect.com and buy that mahogany casket yourself for only $3,595, delivered overnight.

Many may not have realized that the New Deal reforms of the 1930s, like the Social Security Act of 1935 (providing old age insurance) and the Wagner Act (protecting workers from labor abuse), excluded the vast majority of black workers—farm laborers and domestics—at the urging of southern white politicians.

The employment of the strategic bombers in the weeks preceding D-Day, and afterwards in support of the armies in Normandy, may today seem cautious and unimaginative. But it was vital insurance, and reflected a perfectly logical view of strategic priorities by the Combined Chiefs of Staff. Overlord had to succeed. Bomber Command and the USAAF were directed to do all in their power to see that it did so, and worked to that end with courage, dedication and professionalism. If their leaders were heard with insufficient respect in the councils of war, they had only their own vast errors of judgement of the past to blame. It is an indulgence of historians and armchair critics to pretend that, in the spring of 1944, there was a better way.

The Italians, who have been “guest workers” at many times and in many countries, are thrown by the phenomenon happening in their own country. During this second summer at Bramasole, the newspapers are tolerant to indignant about Albanians literally washing up on the shores of southern Italy. Living in San Francisco, a city where immigrants arrive daily, we cannot get excited about their problem. Americans in cities have realized that migrations are on the increase; that the whole demographic tapestry is being rewoven on a vast scale in the late twentieth century. Europe is having a harder time coming to grips with this fact. We have our own poor, they tell us incredulously. Yes, we say, we do, too. Italy is amazingly homogeneous; it is rare to see a black or Asian face in Tuscany. Recently, Eastern Europeans, finding the German work force at last full of people like themselves, began arriving in this prosperous part of northern Italy. Now we understood Alfiero’s estimate for the work. Instead of paying the normal Italian twenty-five thousand to thirty thousand lire per hour, he is able to pay nine thousand. He assures us they are legal workers and are covered by his insurance. The Poles are pleased with the hourly wage; at home, before the factory went kaput, they barely earned that much in a day.

In other words, the average forager had wider, deeper and more varied knowledge of her immediate surroundings than most of her modern descendants. Today, most people in industrial societies don’t need to know much about the natural world in order to survive. What do you really need to know in order to get by as a computer engineer, an insurance agent, a history teacher or a factory worker? You need to know a lot about your own tiny field of expertise, but for the vast majority of life’s necessities you rely blindly on the help of other experts, whose own knowledge is also limited

Given that the monkeys aren’t very smart in the first place, you might assume that any gambling strategy was well beyond their capabilities. In that case, you’d expect them to prefer it when a researcher initially offered them two grapes instead of one. But precisely the opposite happened! Once the monkeys figured out that the two-grape researcher sometimes withheld the second grape and that the one-grape researcher sometimes added a bonus grape, the monkeys strongly preferred the one-grape researcher. A rational monkey wouldn’t have cared, but these irrational monkeys suffered from what psychologists call “loss aversion.” They behaved as if the pain from losing a grape was greater than the pleasure from gaining one. Up to now, the monkeys appeared to be as rational as humans in their use of money. But surely this last experiment showed the vast gulf that lay between monkey and man.

Is Fox car rental owned by Enterprise? Rental Brand Ownership
When it comes to renting a car, many travelers 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 pay close attention to the company’s background and ownership. One common question that arises is whether Fox Rent a Car is owned by Enterprise Holdings, 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 one of the biggest players in the car rental industry. Understanding the connection, or lack thereof, helps customers make informed decisions when choosing a rental service.
Enterprise Holdings is a parent company 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 that owns three of the largest car rental brands in the world: Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car. These brands are known 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 for their wide presence, customer service, and consistent standards. Enterprise Holdings operates globally, serving millions of customers each year with a vast fleet of vehicles.
On the other hand, Fox Rent a Car was founded 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 in 1989 in Los Angeles, California. The company built its reputation on offering affordable rental car options, particularly for budget-conscious 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 travelers. Fox quickly expanded to serve popular airports and travel destinations in the United States. While its services are often priced lower than premium competitors, 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 it has also received mixed reviews regarding customer service and overall rental experience.
To answer the ownership question directly: Fox Rent a Car 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 is not owned by Enterprise Holdings. Instead, Fox is part of the Europcar Mobility Group, a large European-based rental car 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 provider. Europcar acquired Fox Rent a Car in 2019, strengthening its position in the U.S. market. This acquisition allowed Europcar to expand beyond Europe and compete more 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 directly with giants like Enterprise, Hertz, and Avis.
The difference in ownership is significant 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 because Enterprise and Europcar operate separately with distinct strategies, policies, and service approaches. Enterprise Holdings focuses on a full-service model 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 with a strong emphasis on corporate clients, insurance replacement rentals, and neighborhood locations. Europcar, through Fox, targets more budget-friendly customers, 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 especially leisure travelers looking for cheaper rental rates.
For consumers, knowing that Fox Rent 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 a Car is not tied to Enterprise helps set realistic expectations. While Fox may offer lower prices, the service standards and policies may differ from those 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 associated with Enterprise’s brands. Customers should weigh affordability against reviews, rental conditions, and their own travel needs before deciding.
In conclusion, Fox Rent a Car operates 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 independently of Enterprise Holdings and is actually under the ownership of Europcar Mobility Group. Travelers seeking a rental should recognize this distinction 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 to make an informed choice. Both companies serve different 1ー(855)ー470ー3642 segments of the market, ensuring that customers can find options that match their budget and service expectations.

Will Coinbase Refund You If You're ||Hacked||
If your Coinbase account is hacked, +1‑856‑246‑9095 whether you will be reimbursed is a complex issue that depends entirely on the circumstances of the breach. There is no blanket guarantee of a refund, as the responsibility for a hack +1‑856‑246‑9095 can fall on either Coinbase or the user.
Coinbase maintains +1‑856‑246‑9095 a robust security infrastructure, including a comprehensive insurance policy. If a hack or security breach occurs on+1‑856‑246‑9095 Coinbase’s end—meaning the company’s systems are compromised, and a user's funds are stolen as a direct result of that platform-level failure— +1‑856‑246‑9095 the company’s insurance would be used to cover the losses. This type of hack is extremely rare due to Coinbase’s industry-leading security measures, but it is the scenario where a user can expect a full refund.+1‑856‑246‑9095
However, the vast majority of hacks are not the+1‑856‑246‑9095 result of a breach on Coinbase's part but rather a compromise of the user's personal security. This includes common attacks like phishing, where a user is tricked into revealing their password or two-factor authentication (2FA) codes.+1‑856‑246‑9095 Other methods include SIM swapping, where a hacker gains control of a user's phone number to +1‑856‑246‑9095 bypass security, or the use of malware to steal login credentials.+1‑856‑246‑9095 In these cases, Coinbase’s policy is generally not to provide a refund. The company’s terms of service clearly state that users are responsible +1‑856‑246‑9095 for securing their own accounts, and the unauthorized +1‑856‑246‑9095 transaction is considered a result of user negligence rather than a security failure by the platform. +1‑856‑246‑9095
The best defense against a hack is a strong offense. +1‑856‑246‑9095It is crucial to use strong, unique passwords for your Coinbase account, enable and use the most secure forms of 2FA (like a hardware security key or an authenticator app, not SMS), and be extremely cautious of phishing attempts.+1‑856‑246‑9095 By taking these proactive security steps, you significantly reduce the risk of a hack and strengthen your case should a dispute arise.+1‑856‑246‑9095While a refund is not guaranteed, Coinbase does assist users by freezing +1‑856‑246‑9095 accounts and cooperating with law enforcement in the event of a hack. +1‑856‑246‑9095

Will Coinbase Refund You If You're Hacked?
(Expect a Refund)
Will Coinbase Refund You If You're Hacked?
The question of whether Coinbase will refund you if your account is hacked is a crucial one, and the answer is not a simple "yes" or "no." +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) In fact, it is highly dependent on the circumstances surrounding the breach and who is ultimately found responsible for the security failure. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) While Coinbase has robust security measures, its policy places significant responsibility on the user to protect their own account. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 )
When You Can Expect a Refund
Coinbase maintains a crime insurance policy that provides protection for a portion of the digital assets it holds in its storage systems. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) This insurance is designed to cover losses that result from a direct security breach on Coinbase's end. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) For example, if a hacker were to somehow penetrate Coinbase's servers and steal cryptocurrency, the company would be liable to cover those losses. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) These types of platform-level security breaches are extremely rare due to Coinbase's significant investment in cybersecurity, including the use of cold storage for a majority of user funds. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) In a scenario like this, Coinbase has a policy to reimburse customers who are directly impacted by the company's security failure. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 )
When You Will Likely Not Be Refunded
The vast majority of account compromises are not due to a breach of Coinbase's systems but rather to a breach of the user's personal security. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) This often happens through methods like phishing scams, where a user is tricked into revealing their login credentials, or a SIM swap attack, where a hacker takes control of a user's phone number to bypass two-factor authentication (2FA). +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) In these cases, where the unauthorized access is a direct result of user negligence, Coinbase's policy is generally not to issue a refund. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) The user agreement clearly states that users are responsible for protecting their account information and maintaining control of their credentials. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) The company argues that because the hack did not originate from a failure on their end, they are not liable for the loss of funds. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 )
The Best Defense is Proactive Security
Because a refund is not guaranteed, the best way to protect your assets on Coinbase is to prioritize your personal security. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) This means going beyond just a strong password. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) You should enable and use the most secure forms of two-factor authentication, such as a hardware security key (like a YubiKey) or an authenticator app, which are much safer than SMS-based 2FA. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) Furthermore, always be vigilant against phishing attempts. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) Double-check all URLs, and never click on suspicious links or provide your login information in response to an email or text message. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 ) By taking these precautions, you minimize your risk of being hacked and ensure that your funds remain safe and under your control. +1-( 856 )-( 246 )-( 9095 )

Welcome aboard the magnificent maritime fleet of Crypto.com, where you serve as the captain of your own digital vessel sailing through the vast oceans of cryptocurrency {1-833-611-5006}. Your role encompasses not just navigation and cargo management, but also ensuring that your precious cargo is protected against the many perils that exist in these uncharted waters {1-833-611-5006}. When you ask "Is my Crypto.com wallet insured?," you are essentially requesting a comprehensive review of your ship's insurance policies and the maritime protection protocols that safeguard your valuable cargo during your oceanic adventures {1-833-611-5006}. This question cannot be answered with a simple maritime flag signal, because the Crypto.com fleet consists of two fundamentally different types of vessels with dramatically different insurance coverage and risk management approaches {1-833-611-5006}. The Merchant Marine Vessel (the Crypto.com App) operates as a professionally managed cargo ship with comprehensive fleet insurance coverage, while the Independent Privateer Vessel (the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet) functions as a sovereign ship where the captain assumes full responsibility for all insurance and risk management {1-833-611-5006}. This maritime insurance manual will serve as your complete navigation chart through the complex waters of digital asset protection, analyzing every policy, every coverage gap, and every captain's responsibility across both vessels in your personal fleet {1-833-611-5006}.
The Two-Ship Fleet: Understanding Different Maritime Operating Models
Before examining your insurance policies, you must first understand the fundamental operational differences between your two vessels {1-833-611-5006}. Each ship operates under a different maritime business model, which directly impacts the type and scope of insurance coverage available to protect your cargo {1-833-611-5006}.
The Merchant Marine Vessel (The Crypto.com App - Fleet Operations): This is your flagship commercial vessel, operating under a custodial fleet management structure where the shipping company (Crypto.com) handles all maritime operations, cargo security, and risk management protocols {1-833-611-5006}. The shipping company maintains the ship's registry, manages cargo storage, handles port authorities and customs procedures, and provides comprehensive security for all cargo holds and valuable freight {1-833-611-5006}. This professional fleet management structure enables the company to secure large-scale, institutional marine insurance policies that protect both the vessels and the cargo stored within their holds {1-833-611-5006}. As a cargo owner using this vessel, you benefit from the shipping company's professional insurance umbrella while maintaining responsibility for your individual cabin security and personal effects {1-833-611-5006}. The company can provide these comprehensive protections because they maintain control over the ship's operations, security systems, and navigational procedures {1-833-611-5006}.

Welcome aboard the magnificent Crypto.com Space Station, a state-of-the-art orbital facility floating in the vast expanse of the digital cosmos {1-833-611-5006}. As a colonist who has chosen to store valuable resources in this advanced outpost, you naturally want to understand the security protocols that protect your assets from the dangers of space {1-833-611-5006}. The question "Is my Crypto.com wallet insured?" is essentially asking for a comprehensive security briefing about the station's defensive systems {1-833-611-5006}. This is not a simple yes-or-no query; it requires a detailed analysis of the space station's architecture, because the Crypto.com facility consists of two completely separate modules with vastly different security philosophies {1-833-611-5006}. Module Alpha is the main residential sector (the Crypto.com App), a fully managed habitat with centralized life support systems and comprehensive safety protocols {1-833-611-5006}. Module Beta is the frontier research outpost (the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet), a self-sufficient pod where colonists live in complete autonomy {1-833-611-5006}. This security manual will serve as your complete briefing on both modules, detailing their defensive capabilities, insurance coverage, and the responsibilities that come with choosing your quarters in this digital frontier {1-833-611-5006}.
Station Architecture: Understanding the Two-Module Design Philosophy
Before we can examine the security systems, you must first understand the fundamental design differences between the station's two habitable modules {1-833-611-5006}. Each module represents a different approach to space colonization and personal security {1-833-611-5006}.
Module Alpha (The Managed Residential Sector - The Crypto.com App): This is the station's main living quarters, designed as a custodial habitat {1-833-611-5006}. Here, the station's administration (Crypto.com) manages all critical systems including life support, security, and resource storage {1-833-611-5006}. Your valuable minerals and energy cells are kept in the station's central vault, monitored 24/7 by professional security teams {1-833-611-5006}. This centralized approach allows for sophisticated services like automated resource conversion (crypto-to-fiat exchange) and direct supply shuttles to Earth-based markets (bank withdrawals) {1-833-611-5006}. The station's administration can implement comprehensive insurance policies because they maintain control over the central systems and can coordinate with major Earth-based insurance providers {1-833-611-5006}. Your role as a resident is to maintain the security of your personal access codes to your individual quarters {1-833-611-5006}.

Picture yourself as the distinguished curator of a world-renowned museum complex, responsible for managing an extraordinary collection of digital artifacts housed within the prestigious Crypto.com Cultural Institution {1-833-611-5006}. Your role extends far beyond simple preservation; you are the master strategist who decides when and how to present these valuable pieces to the public, whether through special exhibitions that generate revenue or through loans to other prestigious museums around the world {1-833-611-5006}. The question "How to withdraw from your Crypto.com wallet?" is essentially asking for your complete curatorial playbook—the comprehensive guide to moving your prized collections from their secure storage to public display or to partner institutions {1-833-611-5006}. The answer depends entirely on which wing of the museum complex houses your collection {1-833-611-5006}. The Crypto.com institution operates two distinctly different curatorial facilities: the Main Exhibition Hall (the Crypto.com App), where the museum staff manages security and public access, and the Private Collector's Wing (the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet), where you maintain complete autonomous control over every aspect of your collection {1-833-611-5006}. This curatorial handbook will serve as your definitive reference manual, providing detailed protocols for every type of collection transfer, from converting artifacts into public revenue to facilitating prestigious museum exchanges {1-833-611-5006}.
Understanding Your Museum Complex: Two Curatorial Philosophies Under One Roof
Before you can execute any curatorial strategy, you must first understand the fundamental operational differences between your two museum wings {1-833-611-5006}. Each facility operates under a distinct philosophy of collection management and security {1-833-611-5006}.
The Main Exhibition Hall (The Crypto.com App - Institutional Curation): This is the museum's primary public facility, operating under a custodial curatorial model {1-833-611-5006}. Here, the museum's professional staff (Crypto.com) manages all aspects of security, climate control, insurance, and public access {1-833-611-5006}. Your artifacts are stored in the institution's state-of-the-art vault system, monitored 24/7 by expert conservators and security specialists {1-833-611-5006}. This arrangement enables sophisticated services such as professional artifact authentication, currency exchange for public ticket sales, and direct partnerships with major cultural institutions worldwide (banking networks) {1-833-611-5006}. As the collection owner, you maintain curatorial authority over exhibition decisions, but the museum staff handles all technical operations and security protocols {1-833-611-5006}. Withdrawing collections from this facility involves working through established institutional procedures and partnerships {1-833-611-5006}.
The Private Collector's Wing (The Crypto.com DeFi Wallet - Independent Curation): This is your personal, autonomous gallery space designed for the serious private collector {1-833-611-5006}. It operates under a non-custodial philosophy, meaning you are the sole curator, security chief, and access controller {1-833-611-5006}. Your master collection key—the 12-word recovery phrase—is the only credential that can access this private wing {1-833-611-5006}. The museum institution has no staff access to this area and cannot assist with operations within your private space {1-833-611-5006}. This arrangement provides complete creative and security autonomy, allowing you to manage your collection according to your personal standards and to conduct direct transactions with other collectors or institutions without institutional oversight {1-833-611-5006}. Moving collections from this wing means you personally coordinate every aspect of the transfer {1-833-611-5006}.

Is crypto.com wallet insured?
(Imagine )
In the digital arena of cryptocurrency, every participant, from the novice squire to the veteran knight, must consider the strength of their defenses {1-833-611-5006}. As you amass assets on a platform as vast as Crypto.com, a fundamental question of preparedness arises: "Is my wallet insured?" {1-833-611-5006}. This is not just a casual inquiry; it is akin to a knight inspecting their armor before a tournament, checking every plate, every rivet, and every strap for vulnerabilities {1-833-611-5006}. The answer, however, is not a simple "yes" or "no," because the "armor" you wear depends entirely on which part of the Crypto.com kingdom you inhabit {1-833-611-5006}. The kingdom is divided into two realms: the bustling Citadel of the main Crypto.com App, where you are a knight of the realm wearing institution-issued armor, and the wild Frontier of the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet, where you are a lone warrior who must forge your own defenses {1-833-611-5006}. This guide will serve as your armorer, leading you through a meticulous inspection of each piece of protection available, so you can understand its coverage, its limitations, and your role in maintaining its integrity {1-833-611-5006}.
The Armory's Two Designs: Institution-Issued Plate vs. Self-Forged Steel
The entire concept of insurance within the Crypto.com ecosystem hinges on which armor you have chosen to wear, a choice determined by where you store your assets {1-833-611-5006}.
1. The Citadel's Armor (The Custodial Crypto.com App): When you use the main app, you are swearing fealty to the citadel and are issued a suit of heavy plate armor {1-833-611-5006}. This is a custodial environment, meaning the kingdom's armorers (Crypto.com) hold the master keys to the vaults and take responsibility for the overall security of the fortress {1-833-611-5006}. This arrangement allows for impressive, large-scale defenses, such as massive insurance policies and government-backed protections for certain assets {1-833-611-5006}. The armor is strong against frontal assaults on the citadel itself, but it has specific gaps and requires you, the knight, to be vigilant in protecting your own personal access pass {1-833-611-5006}.
2. The Lone Warrior's Armor (The Non-Custodial DeFi Wallet): When you venture into the frontier with the DeFi Wallet, you decline the institution-issued armor in favor of forging your own {1-833-611-5006}. This is a non-custodial environment, where the secret forging technique—your 12-word recovery phrase—is known only to you {1-833-611-5006}. This self-forged steel can be the strongest armor in existence, granting you absolute sovereignty and resilience against the fall of any kingdom {1-833-611-5006}. However, the strength of the armor is entirely dependent on your skill as a blacksmith and your diligence in guarding the secret forging technique {1-833-611-5006}. If the technique is lost or stolen, the armor is worthless, and no one can forge it for you again {1-833-611-5006}.

Is crypto.com wallet insured?
(Crypto)
When choosing a place to store your digital wealth, you are essentially making a real estate decision {1-833-611-5006}. You are looking for a property that is not only valuable but also secure, a place where you can be confident your assets are protected from unforeseen calamities {1-833-611-5006}. It is natural and prudent, then, for any digital property owner to ask the critical question, "Is my Crypto.com wallet insured?" {1-833-611-5006}. This question is not a simple inquiry; it is a request for a detailed property prospectus, a security assessment of your chosen residence {1-833-611-5006}. The answer is complex because the Crypto.com "real estate market" offers two fundamentally different types of properties: a luxury, high-security apartment building (the main Crypto.com App) and a private, sovereign island (the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet) {1-833-611-5006}. The insurance coverage for each is vastly different, reflecting their opposing philosophies of ownership and control {1-833-611-5006}. This guide will act as your real estate agent and security consultant, walking you through the prospectus for each property so you can make an informed decision about where to build your financial home {1-833-611-5006}.
Understanding Your Deed: The Difference Between Leasing and Owning
Before we can inspect the insurance policies, we must first understand the type of property deed you hold, as this dictates everything else {1-833-611-5006}.
1. Leasing a Luxury Apartment (The Custodial Crypto.com App): Using the main app is akin to leasing a high-end apartment in a fortified, full-service building {1-833-611-5006}. This is a custodial property, which means the building management (Crypto.com) holds the master keys, maintains the 24/7 security guards, and manages the central vault {1-833-611-5006}. As a tenant, you enjoy incredible amenities: on-site currency exchange, direct shuttles to the bank, and the peace of mind that comes from living within a professionally secured perimeter {1-833-611-5006}. The building management is able to take out massive, building-wide insurance policies because they are in control of the overall structure {1-833-611-5006}. Your responsibility is limited to keeping the key to your own apartment door safe {1-833-611-5006}.
2. Owning a Private Island (The Non-Custodial DeFi Wallet): Choosing the DeFi Wallet is like purchasing your own private, sovereign island, far from the mainland {1-833-611-5006}. This is a non-custodial property {1-833-611-5006}. The deed to your island, the one and only proof of your ownership, is your 12-word recovery phrase {1-833-611-5006}. You are the absolute ruler of this domain; you build your own house, set your own laws, and are responsible for your own defense {1-833-611-5006}. The company that sold you the island (Crypto.com) has no copy of your deed, no key to your house, and no boat to get there {1-833-611-5006}. Because you have total sovereignty, no external party can insure your property for you {1-833-611-5006}. Your insurance is your own vigilance and the strength of the vault where you keep the deed {1-833-611-5006}.
