Many act as if they feel their work is over when they lead lost souls to Christ and open confession of Him. This is an important step, but only the first step. When their souls are saved then the important work of saving, preserving and utilizing life begins. “Grow in grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour” (2 Peter 3:18) is God’s spiritual order at the doorway of the new life.
