If you start from the principle that your worst enemy is the very person who tries to sow hatred in your heart, your halfway to happiness. All you have to do is reach out your hand and take the rest. And remember this: there is nothing, absolutely nothing, more important than your life. And your life isn’t more important than other people’s lives

Those Who Call You Mad (The Sonnet) Those who call you mad will one day worship you, For no great achievement is possible without madness. Those who find you absurd will one day bow in veneration, For the absurd ideas take us to the most breathtaking destination. Those who look down on you will one day look up to you, For your sacrifice will place you on a pedestal of glory. Those who are deaf to you will one day cross limits for you, For your voice will echo in the hearts as a purifying symphony. Those who see you inconsequential will one day pay you homage. Breathe your mission, live your mission and your acts will forge fate's foliage.

February 13 MORNING “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God.” — 1 John 3:1, 2 BEHOLD, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us.” Consider who we were, and what we feel ourselves to be even now when corruption is powerful in us, and you will wonder at our adoption. Yet we are called “the sons of God.” What a high relationship is that of a son, and what privileges it brings! What care and tenderness the son expects from his father, and what love the father feels towards the son! But all that, and more than that, we now have through Christ. As for the temporary drawback of suffering with the elder brother, this we accept as an honour: “Therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not.” We are content to be unknown with Him in His humiliation, for we are to be exalted with Him. “Beloved, now are we the sons of God.” That is easy to read, but it is not so easy to feel. How is it with your heart this morning? Are you in the lowest depths of sorrow? Does corruption rise within your spirit, and grace seem like a poor spark trampled under foot? Does your faith almost fail you? Fear not, it is neither your graces nor feelings on which you are to live: you must live simply by faith on Christ. With all these things against us, now — in the very depths of our sorrow, wherever we may be — now, as much in the valley as on the mountain, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God.” “Ah, but,” you say, “see how I am arrayed! my graces are not bright; my righteousness does not shine with apparent glory.” But read the next: “It doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him.” The Holy Spirit shall purify our minds, and divine power shall refine our bodies, then shall we see Him as He is.

A woman’s heart is her prized possession and if she shares it with you, consider yourself blessed. It is vital to her very being; it has the capability to pump life-giving love into every living cell of your body. It can make a man believe he can fly. It can be like water to a man dying of thirst. It has the ability to keep both of you breathing when one’s breath is taken away by life’s ups and downs. In order for it to achieve these awe inspiring feats, a man must do his part to keep her heart beating for him. Because of her heart’s vital role in sustaining the relationship, if you play with her heart and it stops beating for you…it most certainly will result in the death of the relationship. In order for her heart to deliver this life-giving love to all of your cells, a love equally as strong must be pumped into every fiber of her being. That love must be capable of purifying the bad blood she has taken in throughout the day that took her breath away and bring pure love back to her heart. In this way it is a continuous cycle allowing reciprocal life-giving love to flow between the two of you sustaining the very life of your relationship.

I am the father, mother, and grandfather of this universe. I am the one who dispenses the fruits of people’s actions, their karma. I am the one thing worth knowing, and I am the enabler of all knowing. As water gets purified by filtering through earth, and other things get purified by being washed in water, mankind gets purified by contact with Me. I am the syllable Om, the very sound of Divinity. I am all the scriptures ever written. I am the goal at the end of all paths. I am the landlord of all creation. I am the inner witness in every human. I am your only lasting shelter; all beings dwell in Me. I am your best friend who lives in your heart as your conscience. I am the beginning of creation, the well-wisher of it, and the dissolution of it. I am the storehouse into which all life returns when creation dissolves — and I am the everlasting, imperishable seed from which it again springs. I give the heat of the sun. I let loose the food-giving rain, and I withhold it. I am both immortality and death (doled out based on the fruits of one’s actions). I am both being and nonbeing. In My visible form I am the cosmos; in My invisible form I am the germ that lies hidden.

The experience of joy will for the first time give you the experience of a beauty that is eternal. It will also give you an insight into the phenomenon of beauty. This insight will not only make you beautiful, it also transforms  your whole world.  Then the whole world becomes beautiful, because the world reflects you. The world is a mirror of you. The trees, the flowers, the animals, the people, the rivers and the mountains will reflect you. You cannot get more than you give.  Many people have not any beautiful to put into life, which is why they live such miserable, joyless, and bored lives. There may be a beautiful sunset, but they do not have the eyes to see it. There may be a bird singing, but they are deaf to hear it.They have no insight into beauty.  When you have an insight into beauty, you will find beauty everywhere. Then you have the eyes to see, and the ears to hear. You will find beauty in a tree,in a stone, in a flower, in an animal or in the sky. You will find awe and wonder, and you will be thrilled and moved.  To know real beauty, one has to go into deep silence. One has to become more aware, alert and silent. Then your heart becomes purified, and you become transformed. You start feeling yourself as a consciousness, rather than as a mind. Then there is beauty all around you. You have a silence and a grace, and suddenly the world is full of beauty.    This is the essence of religious experience. It is only a deep silence that will give beauty, which gives a deep desire to share the experience with others.

Grieve not for lost love, whether it is through death or the fickle fluctuations of human nature. Love itself is never lost, but just plays hide-and-seek with you in many hearts; that in pursuing it you might find its ever greater manifestations. It will keep hiding from you, and disappointing you, until you have quested long enough to find its abode in the One who resides in the deepest recesses of your own soul, and in the heart of everything. Then you will say: “O Lord, when I resided in the house of mortal consciousness, I thought I loved my parents and my friends; I fancied I loved birds, beasts, possessions. But now that I have moved into the mansion of Omnipresence, I know it is Thee alone I love, manifested as parents, friends, all creatures and all things. By loving Thee alone, my heart expanded to love the many. By being loyal in my love to Thee, I am loyal to all I love. And I love all beings forever.” I see life on earth as only a scenic backdrop behind which my loved ones hide at death. As I love them when they are before my eyes, so does my love follow them with my ever-watching mental gaze when they move elsewhere, behind death’s screen. Those whom I have loved I could never hate, even though they grow uninteresting through ugly behavior. In my museum of recollections, I can still behold those traits that caused me to love them. Beneath the temporary mental masks of those whose behavior I dislike, I see the perfect love of my great Beloved, even as I see it in those worthy souls that I love. To stop loving is to stem the purifying flow of love. I shall loyally love every being, every thing, until I find all races, all creatures, all animate and inanimate objects embraced by my love. I will love until every soul, every star, every forsaken creature, every atom, is lodged in my heart; for in the infinite love of God, my breast of eternity is large enough to hold everything in me. O Love, I see Thy glowing face in the gems. I behold Thy shy blush in the blossoms. I am enraptured, hearing Thee warble in the birds. And I dream in ecstasy when my heart embraces Thee in all hearts. O Love, I met Thee in all things—only a little and for a while—but in Omnipresence I clasp Thee entirely and forever, and I rejoice in Thy joy evermore.

Specially in Nepal and Indian simultaneously in pure consciousness soul in UK, in Europe, America, Australia, Asia and few parts of Africa they tell a fable about Shreeom as a Vishnu that: There was once a great devotee of Dhurba who prayed night and day to see his God Shreeom Vishnu. The father and mother of Dhrub name are Uttanapad and Suniti respectively. The devotion is a lesson in surrendering all one's cares and worries to the Divine Shreeom Vishnu. King Uttanapada,the son of Manu had two wives, one named Suruchi who was very dear to him and the other, Suniti, to whom he was indifferent. helpless on account of the king’s neglect. One day Suniti’s son Dhruva saw Uttama, Suruchi’s son, sitting on the lap of the king, their father. When the king took up Dhurba on his lap, a jealous Suruchi severely abused the king. Dhruva went away heart-broken to his mother, who advised him that the one way to overcome the bad effects of one’s own past actions was to seek shelter at your feet. Hearing his mother’s words, Dhruva just five years old but highly sensitive and self-respecting, very faithful and devotion left the city, determined to devote himself to Vishnu Shreeom worship. He had an opportune meeting with Sage Narada and being instructed in Shreeom sacred name, then Dhurba entered the forest of Madhu, where he engaged himself in severe austerities in adoration and devotion of Shreeom. Finally because of such great devotion Shreeom appeared as a Vishnu and blessed Dhurba. Knowing this, Shreeom affectionately touched his cheek and his body with hand, was the seed of all sound and solving of all the problems of Dhruba. Shreeom had been provided all the necessary knowledge of the world to Dhurba . He then sang Shreeom Vishnu praise, having been purified and enlightened by Shreeom's touch. After many years Dhurba and his mother and father entered the region called Dhruva-loka and lived there joyfully even now as the Pole Star, the Dhruva Tara. That story is about thousands of years ago. Now again in this time Shreeom Vishnu is on earth as a human form with Sankha and Chakra and many Gods and Goddess, Brahmas, Devis, father's and mother's soul all the time, fortunate male and female divinity and Sadhus, Santas, Pandits, scientists and presidents and prime ministers of every nations, kings and queens, pure and Knowledgeable existence are with Shreeom.

The very essence of spirituality is that it purifies your lower self, awaken your spiritual heart, and open your breast to receive god's theophanies.

Hush the voices in your head, Command the mind into quietness, Place your hands on your heart, Feel the warmness in your heart, Breathe tenderness into your heart, Exhale frustration out of your body. Feel your body melt into purified pleasure. Stretch your face and feel the heat on your cheeks. Feel the heavens surrounding you, Feel the paradises steering out your troubles, Feel the departure of what no longer belongs in your body, Feel the heavens pouring love into your chambers, Feel the deepening of your heart into a sanctuary, Feel the heavens extending the purse of blessings, Feel the Eden stabilizing you back into your authentic state.

Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth, by the Spirit, in unfeigned brotherly love, love one another with a pure heart fervently, being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever. (1 Peter 1:22-23)

A sweet and happy soul is the ripened fruit of experience and wisdom, and it sheds abroad the invisible yet powerful aroma of its influence, gladdening the hearts of others, and purifying the world. And all who will, and who have not yet commenced, may begin this day, if they will so resolve, to live sweetly and happily, as becomes the dignity of a true manhood or womanhood. Do not say that your surroundings are against you. A man’s surroundings are never against him; they are there to aid him, and all those outward occurrences over which you lose sweetness and peace of mind are the very conditions necessary to your development, and it is only by meeting and overcoming them that you can learn, and grow, and ripen. The fault is in yourself.

One does not automatically become wise in old age. Only when self-interest and greed are thrown out the window. Thus, purifying your heart and your thoughts.

Purify your heart. Take the spite out of it. Your heart is a small organ. When you fill it with hatred, you’re preventing it from being filled with the love of the Almighty. Always ask Him to protect us from hearts that are consumed with hatred, envy etc.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Sadness resembles the air you breathe in; once it seeps into your bloodstream, it becomes an enduring companion. Despite your heart's ceaseless attempts to purify and replenish your blood, that sorrow remains entrenched, resisting expulsion throughout your lifetime.

If a chunk of alum can purify a bucket of putrid water, your heart can purify the world with its gentalist power.

The Earth is a testing ground for every one of us including the most prominent and of the most eminent ones. A place where we find duality in everything including how we see it and how it actually is in reality. Similarly, the duality concept is in people you see and meet who are either good, bad, or people who have two faces, one that they show and one that they are within. One is the duality of the personalities we veil through ourselves and another is the duality of the soul within. Whether are you a soul having fire within or are you a soul having light within and whichever you feed the most becomes your abode within and hereafter. You are both, your heaven and hell, fire and light, and finally, love or hate within. And our creator wants us to purify ourselves of the fire within and become light by being on the side of truth within and outside, righteousness within and outside, and pious within and outside, and finally sincere within and outside. Creator loves the one who has one tongue, one thing which is in the heart and which is on the tongue. The thing you are within is outside and the thing outside is within so you become successful. Like Rocky has said: “The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward." The matter is not that you have truth with you but the question is are you truthful?!. The truth will only set you free when you are truthful within yourself.

Bhakti Yoga is the path of devotion and love. SIGNIFICANCE Bhakti Yoga is the path that purifies the mind to help you get closer to Self-realization. EFFECT Practicing Bhakti Yoga provides you with a sense of humility and a full heart.

The Gentalist Sonnet I only ask one thing of my soldier – everything! Give up all, so that those with nothing receive life. What can I give to thee, except for this life of mine, Says the brave gentalist across all personal strife. Gente means people, and people are the music of life. Love the people, lift the people, people are the way. Not your people, not my people, it's all one people. Once you feel it in your bones, uplift is on its way. I don't believe in a messiah, I don't believe in a god, ‘Cause I’m far too accountable for my society, my world. Thus speaks the gentalist, burning with a sense of duty, Thus speaks the living aid, who ain’t no mythical lord. If a chunk of alum can purify a bucket of putrid water, Your heart can purify the world with its gentalist power.

Even though you cannot remember all you have read, or understand it all, go on reading. The very practice of reading in itself will have a purifying effect upon your mind and heart. Let nothing take the place of this daily exercise.

want to establish the Deity in the shrine of your heart, if you want to realize God. First of all purify the mind. In the pure heart God takes His seat. One cannot bring the holy image into the temple if the droppings of bats are all around. The eleven bats are our eleven organs: five of action, five of perception, and the mind.

Real filth is the one inside. The rest simply washes off. There is only one type of dirt that cannot be cleansed with pure waters, and that is the stain of hatred and bigotry contaminating the soul. You can purify your body through abstinence and fasting, but only love will purify your heart.

Therefore if you would be subject to God, you should resist the devil and he will flee for his life from you, 8. draw near to God and He will draw near to you.1 Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded!

You will not react, which literally means to act again, as you did in the past. Instead, even if you are being persecuted (or to speak from personal experience, to be nailed upon a cross), you will have cultivated the ability to love. And in all situations, no matter what another is doing, your first response will be to enter into the quiet stillness within and merely ask the Holy Spirit: What would you have me say? What is most appropriate for this other soul in this moment? For when forgiveness has purified the mind and the heart and the emotional field of your own being, you will discover that you exist only to extend Love.

Now I must disclose to you the chief aim of our Order," he said, "and if this aim coincides with yours, you may enter our Brotherhood with profit. Purify your heart with prayer.

DON’T BE RULED BY HIDDEN FAULTS AND WILLFUL SIN But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression (Psalm 19:12-13). David’s prayer was simple and to the point, “Don’t let hidden faults and willful sins rule over me.” I suspect this is a prayer we all need to pray. When we ask God to forgive hidden faults and willful sins, what do you think God will do? Do you think God will turn a blind eye, or simply say, “Forget about it?” I have discovered God does not operate that way. His method is usually to send a circumstance or a person to point out and highlight what we have done. God will cleanse us, but first He must open up the secret places. “Forgive my hidden faults.” What is a hidden fault? A hidden fault is something that may be hidden to us but not to others. The psalmist puts it this way, “But who can discern their own errors?” Those around us can see them plainly. Happy are the people who have someone in their lives not afraid to point out things that we are too blind to see. “Keep your servant also from willful sins.” What are willful sins? To do anything “willful” is an act of presumption and activity that stems from pride. What David is really saying, “Lord, help me to realize that without You I can do nothing.” As one writer states: “Willful sins are those in which you are confident that you have what it takes to do what God wants. A prideful self-confidence is presumption, and God never asked us to do anything on that basis.”6 David’s desire was to be blameless and innocent of any and all transgression. He realized for that to happen, his hidden faults and willful sins must be dealt with. He opened up his heart and allowed the Spirit of God to expose whatever was inside and discern anything that might hinder his fellowship with God. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Father, give me a teachable spirit, and show me through Your Word how to be continually free from hidden faults and willful sins. Amen!

We know that You are the Supreme Absolute Truth, the Personality of Godhead, who manifests His transcendental form in the uncontaminated mode of pure goodness. This transcendental, eternal form of Your personality can be understood only by Your mercy, through unflinching devotional service, by great sages whose hearts have been purified in the devotional way.

The new, would the noble man create, and a new virtue. The old, wants the good man, and that the old should be conserved. But it is not the danger of the noble man to turn a good man, but lest he should become an arrogant boor , a mocker, or a destroyer. Ah! I have known noble ones who lost their highest hope. And then they slandered all high hopes. Then lived they shamelessly in temporary pleasures, and beyond the day had hardly an aim. "Spirit is also voluptuousness," - said they. Then broke the wings of their spirit; and now it creeps about, and defiles where it gnaws. Once they thought of becoming heroes; but sensualists are they now. A trouble and a terror is the hero to them. But by my love and hope I appeal to you: cast not away the hero in your soul! Maintain holy your highest hope! - Thus spoke Zarathustra.

...because you have been purifying your fields for many incarnations so you no longer belong in the heavy density of the third dimension and you find it difficult to tolerate. But you have one last mission here and you are on the verge of knowing…follow your heart and your instincts.

Yes, Lord, may your kingdom come in my heart to sanctify it, to nourish it, to purify it, and to render it victorious over all its enemies.

Clear and purify your heart , because its the only thing you get respect , you feel emotions , you are known and most important you live !!

battlefield. Christ fought against the powers of sin and death for us. He defeated the powers of evil for us. 2. The language of the marketplace. Christ paid the ransom price, the purchase price, to buy us out of our indebtedness. He frees us from enslavement. 3. The language of exile. Christ was exiled and cast out of the community so we who deserve to be banished could be brought in. He brings us home. 4. The language of the temple. Christ is the sacrifice that purifies us and makes us acceptable to draw near to the holy God. He makes us clean and beautiful. 5. The language of the law court. Christ stands before the judge and takes the punishment we deserve. He removes our guilt and makes us righteous. It is sometimes implied we can choose which of these models we prefer and ignore the others, but this is misleading. Each way of communicating the atonement reflects a piece of inspired Scripture, and each tells us great things about our salvation that the others do not bring out as clearly. Each will have special resonance with certain temperaments and cultures. People who are fighting oppression or even enslavement and long for freedom will be helped by the first two grammars (the battlefield and the marketplace). People seeking relief for guilt and a sense of shame will be especially moved by the last two — the temple and the law court. People who feel alienated, rootless, and rejected will find the exile grammar intensely engaging. But perhaps the single most consoling and appealing theme is what theologian Roger Nicole has called the one, irreducible theme that runs through every single one of these models — the idea of substitution.28 Dr. Nicole taught that, regardless of the grammar being used, the essence of the atonement is always Jesus acting as our substitute. Jesus fights the powers, pays the price, bears the exile, makes the sacrifice, and bears the punishment for us, in our place, on our behalf. In every grammar, Jesus does for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He accomplishes salvation; we do nothing at all. And therefore the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus is at the heart of everything. This act — giving one’s life

While you’re waiting, God wants you praying, drawing nearer to Him, and resting in the peace that He provides in the midst of a raging storm. As you wait, God strengthens you because you begin to realize that God IS at work . . . He’s growing your faith and He’s purifying your heart. And faith is rarely grown with anything other than overwhelming circumstances, and typically not found in any place other than the “waiting place.” There’s no other way to purify gold than by the fire—it’s part of the process . . . and it’s necessary. God knows what He’s doing.

Would you like to know where Jesus feeds His flock? Deny yourself and take up your cross, then you can be sure of following Him. Would you like to know where He rests at noon? The soul and mind are intrinsically connected; the soul transforms a portion of itself into the mind, the spiritual mind and other levels of reality. The soul uses the mind, to experience this realm, and becomes identified with it to create the ego. The souls bliss is always pure, and can never be touched by the negativity of the world it inhabits. It is our minds, it is our egos which have to be refined and purified in order for us to experience the ever new bliss of the soul. Our souls are already enlightened, that is why there is nothing really to gain or attain. We are already whole (holy), we just don't know it yet. We have so many negative beliefs eclipsing our divinity that we forget our true nature. Notice how I say eclipses? What is an eclipse? It is when the Moon covers up the great celestial light of our Sun for a short period of time. Similarly, the moon of the negative beliefs in the unconscious covers up the celestial light of our soul. But the light has never gone, it is still shining brightly, we just cant see it. Remove the moon of those limiting beliefs in order to perceive the bliss and light of your soul! Life is all about self-discovery. We have imposed this forgetfulness on ourselves for a reason, and it is all well and good in the grand scheme of things. When we do experience our awesomeness after so many years of limitation and negativity it makes it all worth it. The soul is unconditional love itself, and when you discover this within the very depth of your heart, ye shall know what God truly is

Do advise me,' he urged, 'as to how I can remove the illusions of the mind and free it from the turmoil to which it is always subjected, and realise God. I am simply caught up in the attachment to wife, house, money and property.' 'You have diagnosed,' Ramdas replied, 'the disease aright and also have a clear understanding of the remedy for it. Know in the first place that the God you seek is within yourself. He is the life and soul of the universe and to attain Him is the supreme purpose of life. Evil and sorrow are due to your belief that you are separate from this universal Truth. The ego has set up this wall of separation. Have a strong and intense longing to realise Him, that is, to know that your life is one with the life of the universe. Then surrender up the ego by constant identification with Him through prayer, meditation and performance of all action without desiring their fruit. As you progress on this path, which is the path of devotion, knowledge and self-surrender, your attachment to the unrealities of life will slacken, and the illusions of the mind will be dispelled. Now your heart will be filled with divine love, and your vision purified and equalised, and your actions will become the spontaneous outflow of your immortal being, yielding you the experience of true joy and peace. This is the culmination of human endeavour and fulfilment of the purpose of life.

Love, the love of God, covers the multitude of sins which are in your fallen heart, and the faithfulness of Jesus Christ purifies us. The faithfulness of Jesus Christ, or the blood of Jesus, continuously purifies us.

In your heart, all you have to do is purify yourself in such a way that you simply say, “Love is forgiving.” Now, that last part can be both two words and one word. When it’s one word, it’s forgiving, which is what we’ve been discussing here. But it’s also for giving, so it’s a gift, meaning that you don’t ask anything back of it.

Pure love is the worship, not the sin or sex. Apply to your eyes. Shower, and purify your heart and mind with that, to realize the beauty of the universe.

Methods to dispel the impurities of the Heart What are the impurities of the heart? The meditator has to dispel all impurities of the heart. 1. Compassion Fill the heart with compassion and then violence, anger and jealousy will disappear. Before moving into meditation, feel unconditional love and compassion towards the whole world. The first purification of the meditator is that when you sit in meditation, begin by feeling compassion for the whole world. Compassion will dissolve the impurities that accumulate in your heart and mind. 2. Friendliness The second thing to purify the heart is friendliness towards the whole World - not only towards man, but towards everything. 3. Cheerfulness The third thing to purify the heart is cheerfulness, a feeling of joy and cheerfulness. When we are in joy, no impurity flows towards us from the world. When we are said, we immediately start thinking of making the whole world miserable. Cheerfulness is to fill your heart with joy and cheerfulness. 4. Indifference The fourth method to purify the heart is indifference, no matter what happens. Whether good or bad things happen. whether success or failure happens, whether self-realization happens or not - remain indifferent. One remains centered and balanced between the two, one does not choose between the two. These four methods are the essence of religion.

Even though you cannot remember all you have read, or understand it all, go on reading. The very practice of reading in itself will have a purifying effect upon your mind and heart. Let nothing take the place of this daily exercise. Scripture memorized can come to mind when you do not have your Bible with you—on sleepless nights, when driving a car, traveling, when having to make an instantaneous important decision. It comforts, guides, corrects, encourages—all we need is there. Memorize as much as you can.

Those who feel plagued by not being good enough are often drawn to idealistic worldviews that offer the possibility of purifying and transcending a flawed nature. This quest for perfection is based in the assumption that we must change ourselves to belong. We may listen longingly to the message that wholeness and goodness have always been our essence, yet still feel like outsiders, uninvited guests at the feast of life.

Even in darkness, if you close your eyes and try to walk, a serenade of light guides you. And it is not just blank philosophy, it's absolutely true and something that we actually know in the deepest corner of our heart, if only our minds let us look deep enough. And at this time when the world is seeped in a cloud of uncertainty, a shade of darkness that is so dense that an unknown fear clutch us and we fall deep inside that pit of fire, I hope we do not forget that often fire is the most potent element in this Earth to purify us, and even from the ashes one can rise provided we hold on to that Hope, that is the very wings of Faith. This time, this quarantine as they call it, or this Solitude as I call it is making us realize so much and each time I come across a post breathing with life be it music, art, introspective words, I know that this time is letting some of us sink deep in the realm of spiritual growth, even if the outer countenance of that is limited to a shape. The paintings, the songs, the dance and act performances, the cooking dishes, the motivating words, the happiness of spending time with family, the mirth and laughter, even in the frugalities showing the battles of survival, and actually in every littlest post, all I can see is how everyone is getting hold of their inner light and delving into something that gives them the fuel to this light. Sometimes a wreck of clouds bring in a burst of rainfall that perhaps had been long due and yet a silver lining often lurks around as a surprising gift of that grey canopy of clouds. The rain might jolt on the fields of harvest but brings in the promise of a better harvest, and soothes the earth with the harmony of tranquil serenity. The sky shines with a rainbow that we embrace in our hearts through that belief in our abilities and the joy of love, the complete invincible love for ourselves with each and every particle of our soul, and there we rise in compassion and shine in gratitude. I believe, I always believe that anything that we practice often, again and again and yet again, becomes a part of us and sometimes all of us. And perhaps the best practice that we can all indulge in at the moment is the practice of mindfulness, of knowing what truly we want not what we are programmed to want but what lies deep dormant in the innermost vicinity of our hearts where we as souls reside because once we know that, we would know how silence speaks in the sharpest tongue beckoning us again and again onto the path of love, where a serenade of light leads us even through the darkest of gloom.

You can purify your body through abstinence and fasting, but only love will purify your heart.

To really understand your identity, you have to properly divide soul and spirit. Your spirit has been made new. You are a new creation in Christ. You have received a new spirit and a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26). Your spirit has been perfected in Christ. You have received every spiritual blessing you need in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 1:3). You are adopted into the family of God (Ephesians 1:5; Romans 8; Romans 8:15). You are heirs of God and coheirs of Christ (Romans 8:17). These are all the claims of Scripture for who you are in Christ. Your spirit has been purified, purged, renewed, born again, and transformed. But your soul . . . well, that can still be a bit of a mess. Your soul can have hurts and bitterness. Your soul can still have sin and demonic strongholds. Your soul can have fears and faulty beliefs about who you are. Your soul can still feel condemnation and shame.

A Prayer for True and Deep Joy Blessed are You, O Lord, teach me Your statutes. I am the image of Your ineffable glory Though I bear the marks of straying: Have compassion for Your creature, O Master And purify me by Your loving-kindness; Grant me the homeland of my heart’s desire, Making me again a citizen of Paradise.1

Holy Light, when I name the darkness I do not become it. Grant me the courage to see the root, the wisdom to act with justice, and the mercy to keep my heart undefiled. Those who have a dip in this river become one with her, and they will return a different person. He came here for only a couple of days but stayed for months, because here Truth and Love are flowing. Wherever there is Satsang — where a teacher is speaking to those who need this beauty and truth — that is a place to stay. I will give you the name Jahnavi — that which blesses and purifies everything. She relieves all of the pain and sin which people carry for lifetimes. Just touch her — immediately they are washed away. She is so blessing and caring. She is the Mother. Whoever swims in her becomes eternal. Like this, bless everybody that comes and enters your heart.

The liver is the primary manufacturing site for taking in fats and repackaging them in the form of lipoproteins for delivery to peripheral tissues. Insulin resistance disrupts this lipid repackaging process. Triglyceride levels rise, high-density cholesterol levels decrease, and low-density lipoproteins become smaller, more dense, and more atherogenic (more likely to increase the formation of plaques in the arteries). All of these risk factors increase the likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease. The reason that these small dense LDL particles are atherogenic is that it appears they are more easily oxidized in the blood. This is why the levels of oxidized LDL are far more predictive of future heart disease than total LDL levels are. As insulin resistance (really cellular inflammation) spreads to the muscle, the glucose in the blood stays elevated, increasing the production of more glycosylated proteins (AGE) that increase inflammation throughout the body. The best way to measure insulin resistance is by using a euglycemic insulin clamp, which is an extremely complex procedure done only under research conditions. The best surrogate marker of insulin resistance is the ratio of triglycerides (TG) to high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the blood. The higher the TG/HDL ratio, the greater the level of insulin resistance in the liver. So what are good levels of the TG/HDL ratio? These are shown below: Ideal Fair Poor At risk <1 1–2 3.5 >3.5 You usually find a TG/HDL ratio of less than one in elite athletes or people who follow the Mediterranean Zone. The average American has a TG/HDL ratio of 3.5, indicative of developing widespread insulin resistance. By the time the TG/HDL is greater than 4, you have metabolic syndrome (pre-diabetes) or fully developed type 2 diabetes. An alternative method of determining insulin resistance is the levels of fasting insulin. This is a more expensive test than the TG/HDL ratio so insurance companies don’t like to reimburse it. If you are able to get such a test, here are the numbers you are looking for in terms international units per ml (IU/ml). Ideal Fair Poor At risk <5 5–10 10–15 >15 Since insulin resistance is the result of cellular inflammation, by following a strict Mediterranean Zone dietary program supplemented with purified omega-3 fatty acids and polyphenols, you can expect to see significant changes within thirty days. These markers of wellness will provide continued clinical sentinels in the blood to alert you if you are moving out of the Zone. The correction to get back into the Zone is easy.
