The fragility of the US economy had nearly destroyed him. It wasn't enough that Citadel's walls were as strong and impenetrable as the name implied; the economy itself needed to be just as solid. Over the next decade, he endeavored to place Citadel at the center of the equity markets, using his company's superiority in math and technology to tie trading to information flow. Citadel Securities, the trading and market-making division of his company, which he'd founded back in 2003, grew by leaps and bounds as he took advantage of his 'algorithmic'-driven abilities to read 'ahead of the market.' Because he could predict where trades were heading faster and better than anyone else, he could outcompete larger banks for trading volume, offering better rates while still capturing immense profits on the spreads between buys and sells. In 2005, the SEC had passed regulations that forced brokers to seek out middlemen like Citadel who could provide the most savings to their customers; in part because of this move by the SEC, Ken's outfit was able to grow into the most effective, and thus dominant, middleman for trading — and especially for retail traders, who were proliferating in tune to the numerous online brokerages sprouting up in the decade after 2008. Citadel Securities reached scale before the bigger banks even knew what had hit them; and once Citadel was at scale, it became impossible for anyone else to compete. Citadel's efficiency, and its ability to make billions off the minute spreads between bids and asks — multiplied by millions upon millions of trades — made companies like Robinhood, with its zero fees, possible. Citadel could profit by being the most efficient and cheapest market maker on the Street. Robinhood could profit by offering zero fees to its users. And the retail traders, on their couches and in their kitchens and in their dorm rooms, profited because they could now trade stocks with the same tools as their Wall Street counterparts.

Submerged Suburbia by Stewart Stafford Fell out of bed, dragging my soul, Looked out the old goldfish bowl, To see suburbia was underwater, And I was engaged to Neptune’s daughter. There were buses like whales, Driven by aquatic snails, And jellyfish squatters, Chased by octopus coppers. Crab and lobster schoolkids, Scurried by making online bids, As a serial killer shark, Prowled for surfers before dark. Someone let the water out, And it all went down the spout, Flopping fish still tarried, But I got out of getting married. © Stewart Stafford, 2022. All rights reserved.

WhatsApp info:+12723 328 343 As a freelance artist based just outside of Austin, I had always relied on platforms like Upwork to sell my work and connect with clients. So when I first heard about NFTs, I was intrigued by the idea of using blockchain technology to sell my art and reach new buyers. It seemed like the perfect way to break free from the limitations of traditional platforms and finally make my digital creations more profitable. I came across what appeared to be a reputable NFT marketplace. The platform had a flashy interface and showcased prominent artists, while the online art community buzzed with excitement around it. This validation gave me the confidence to dive in. I spent weeks creating a new series of digital artworks, pouring my heart and soul into them, and then minted them as NFTs on this platform. The fees associated with minting were steep around $20,000 but I believed the potential returns would more than justify the investment. With my NFTs listed, I eagerly promoted them on social media, leveraging my experience from Upwork to engage potential buyers. I received a couple of bids, which filled me with optimism. It felt like everything was finally coming together. But that excitement quickly turned into confusion and frustration when I tried to withdraw the funds from the bids. Instead of receiving my earnings, the platform displayed an error message. When I reached out to their support team, they requested additional payments to "process my withdrawal." At first, the fees seemed minor, but then they escalated, with new demands for payment popping up regularly. The requests quickly spiraled into an endless loop. Days turned into weeks, and my hopes of seeing any return on my investment faded. It dawned on me that I had been scammed. The platform was a fake, and the supposed big-name artists likely part of an elaborate scheme to lure in unsuspecting creators like me. I was devastated both financially and emotionally and felt too embarrassed to tell anyone. I feared people would think I had been reckless or gullible. After confiding in a close friend, I felt a sense of relief. She suggested I reach out to ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST , a service that specializes in tracking down stolen digital assets and helping people who have fallen victim to online scams. Desperate, I contacted them, and to my surprise, they were able to recover my funds. The experience taught me a hard lesson, but it also gave me hope that not all was lost. It reminded me that even in moments of vulnerability, reaching out for help can lead to unexpected solutions.

WhatsApp: +1 (443) 859 - 2886 Email @ digitaltechguard.com Telegram: digitaltechguardrecovery.com Website link: digitaltechguard.com On February 1, I became the victim of a fake online car auction and lost AU$8,000. It all started when I came across what appeared to be a legitimate auction for a rare car that I had been eyeing for a while. The listing was detailed, with high-quality photos of the car, and the auction site seemed professional. As a car enthusiast, I was eager to bid on this rare find, so I placed my bid, convinced I was participating in a genuine auction. When I won the auction and paid the required AU$8,000, I was excited to finally secure the car I had been dreaming of. But soon after making the payment, I began to grow concerned. The seller became unresponsive, and I received no updates or information about the delivery of the car. I tried reaching out to them multiple times, but every attempt went unanswered. The worst part came when I returned to the auction website, only to find it completely shut down. At that point, I realized I had been scammed, and my AU$8,000 was gone. Feeling completely helpless and unsure of what to do next, I searched for options to recover my money. That’s when I found DIGITAL TECH GUARD RECOVERY, a company specializing in recovering funds lost to online fraud. I wasn’t sure if they could help, but I decided to contact them, hoping for some guidance. From the moment I reached out, the team at DIGITAL TECH GUARD RECOVERY took immediate action. They began tracing the fraudulent car auction site and thoroughly investigating the scam. Throughout the process, they kept me informed at every step and reassured me that they were doing everything possible to recover my funds. Their professionalism and expertise gave me hope during a time when I felt completely defeated. To my relief, after several weeks of hard work, DIGITAL TECH GUARD RECOVERY successfully tracked down the scammers and recovered the full AU$8,000 I had lost. Their dedication and persistence were beyond impressive, and I’m incredibly grateful for their efforts. Without their help, I would have had no way of recovering my money, and I would have been left with nothing but disappointment and financial loss. Thanks to DIGITAL TECH GUARD RECOVERY, I not only got my AU$8,000 back but also learned a valuable lesson about the risks of online auctions. Their hard work allowed me to move on from this unfortunate experience, and I can now continue my passion for cars without the bitter taste of being scammed lingering over me. I highly recommend their services to anyone who has been affected by online fraud their commitment to resolving these situations is truly outstanding.
