Damn, Claire. Warn a guy before you do a face-plant on the floor next time. I could have looked all heroic and caught you or something -Shane

Perv."
He pointed to himself. "Male and eighteen. What's your point?
β
β
Rachel Caine (Midnight Alley (The Morganville Vampires, #3))
β
Scoot over, man. I don't like you that much."
"Dick. That's not what you said last night."
"Bite me.

Rachel Caine (Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1))
β
Boys. I'd turn gay if they weren't so sexy.
β
β
Rachel Caine (The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2))
β
Run first,' Shane said. 'Mourn later.'
It was the perfect motto for Morganville.

Rachel Caine (Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1))
β
I'm gonna kill him," Eve said, or at least that was what it sounded like filtered through the pillow.
Stake him right in the heart, shove garlic up his ass, and-and-"
And what?" (Michael)
When did you get home?" Claire demanded.
Apparently just in time to hear my funeral plans. I especially like the garlic up the ass. It's...different.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Feast of Fools (The Morganville Vampires, #4))
β
You. O Positive. How many exits?"
"What?...Oh shit, did you just call me by my bloodtype?
β
β
Rachel Caine (The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2))
β
Crap, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"I'm thinking we have about fifteen vampires and no blood," Claire said. "Is that it?"
"No, I was thinking we're out of chips. Of course that's what I was thinking.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Feast of Fools (The Morganville Vampires, #4))

Goodness,' Myrnin said quietly. 'I don't think I should be watching this. I don't think I'm old enough.

Eve: She told me last!
Shane: Boyfriend!
Michael: Landlord!
Eve: Crap. Right. Next time you sell your soul to the devil, I get first contact!

Hell,' Shane spit in disgust. 'I can't hit a girl. Here, Claire. You hit her.' He tossed her the bat.

β
Can I come back and see you sometime?"
"Long as you bring me some chocolate," Gramma said, and smiled. "I'm partial to chocolate."
"Gramma, you're diabetic."
"I'm old, girl. Gonna die of something. Might as well be chocolate.

Rachel Caine (The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2))

Want to play baseball?ββ she asked. Shaneβs eyes opened, and he stopped stroking her hair. βWhat?ββ βFirst base,ββ she said. βYouβre already there.ββ βIβm not running the bases.ββ βWell, you could at least steal second.ββ βJeez, Claire. I used to distract myself with sports stats at times like these, but now youβve gone and ruined it.
β
β
Rachel Caine (The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2))
β
No, not you two. Stay here.'
'Does he just not get how unfair and sexist that is?' Eve asked. 'Men.'
'You really want to go first?'
'Of course no. But I'd like the chance to refuse to go first.

Claire stretched out against the wall and kissed it. "Glad to see you, too," she whispered, and pressed her cheek against the smooth surface. It almost felt like it hugged her back.
"Dude, it's a house," Shane said from behind her. "Hug somebody who cares.

Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))

Better be," Eve said. She mock-bit at his finger. "I could totally date somebody else, you know."
"And I could rent out your room."
"And I could put your game console on eBay."
"Hey," Shane protested. "Now you're just being mean.

I donβt see a way in,β Eve whispered.
Why are you whispering?β Myrnin whispered back. βVampires can hear us, anyway.

Oliver: You turned me down. So why, I wonder, did you decide Amelie would be a better choice?
Claire: She smells better. And she made me cookies.

Okay, this was kissing. Serious kissing. Not just a kiss before moving out, not a good-bye, this was Hello, sexy, and wow, sheβd never even suspected that it could feel this way.

Hannah leaned against the wall. 'Mind if I call shotgun?'
'Since you're carrying one? Feel free.

Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))

Rachel Caine (Bite Club (The Morganville Vampires, #10))

But that quickly faded, and he frowned. "You're bleeding," he said. "What happened?"
Claire sighed and held up her wrist to show him the bandage. "Man, you would be so embarrassed if I said it was something else." Michael looked blank. "I'm a girl, Michael, it could have been all natural, you know. Tampons?
β
β
Rachel Caine (Midnight Alley (The Morganville Vampires, #3))

Michael: We do the best nothing you've ever seen.

You're still here. No beer. I'm not corrupting a minor."
"But you're a minor," she pointed out. "At least for beer."
"Yeah, and by the way, how much does it suck that I'm an adult if I kill somebody, and I'm not if I want a beer?
β
β
Rachel Caine (Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1))
β
Jealous?"
"Maybe."
"No reason. I like my ladies with a pulse.

As she turned to concentrate on the portal, Eve tugged on Claire's shirt. "What?"
"Ask him where he got the boots."
"You ask." Personally, Claire wanted the vampire bunny slippers.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Fade Out (The Morganville Vampires, #7))
β
That's brain tissue. How can you-?" Claire shut her mouth, fast. "Never mind. I don't think I wanna know."
"Truly, I think that's best. Please take it." He showed his teeth briefly in a very unsettling grin. "I'm giving you a piece of my mind."
"I so wish you hadn't said that.

The door banged open, and Eve rushed out, flushed and mussed and still buttoning her shirt. 'It's not what you think,' she said. 'It was justβoh, okay, whatever, it was exactly what you think. Now, what?
β
β
Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))
β
What about Myrnin?'
Eve swallowed, almost choked, and Michael patted her kindly on the back. She beamed at him. 'Myrnin? Oh yeah. He did a Batman and took off into the night. What is with that guy, Claire? If he was a superhero, he'd be Bipolar Man.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))
β
Don't diss me, Danvers. I'm warning you.'
'I'm not dissing you,' Claire sighed. 'I'm ignoring you. There's a difference. Dissing you implies I think you're actually important.

Rachel Caine (Kiss of Death (The Morganville Vampires, #8))
β
Another thing I don't want on my tombstone," Shane said.
You have others?" Claire asked.
He held up one finger. "I thought it wasn't loaded," Shane said. Second finger. "Hand me a match so I can check the gas tank." Third finger. "Killed over ice cream. Basically, any death that requires me to be stupid first.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Kiss of Death (The Morganville Vampires, #8))
β
God, I needed you," he murmured. "I can't even tell you how many times I thought about this. The funny thing is, I don't need you any less now. I think I need you more."

Rachel Caine (Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires, #9))
β
That's it? That's your big goodbye?" Eve asked.
Claire looked at Eve mystified. "I think I need guy CliffNotes."
"Guys aren't deep enough to need CliffNotes."
"What were you waiting for, flowery poetry?" Shane snorted. "I hugged. I'm done.

Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))

Seriously,β Shane said, βthis kind of is the worst situation weβve ever been in, right?β

βOh yeah. Youβre rightβlast year really sucked for you.

I'm worried he's going to...do something crazy."
"He lives in a hole in the ground, dresses funny and occasionally eats his assistants," Eve said. "Define crazy."
Claire closed her eyes. "Okay. I think he wants to put my brain in a jar and wire it into the machine."
Dead silence.

Parents had some kind of sin radar, Claire thought. They always called when you were in the middle of something you just knew they'd consider wrong. Or at least risky.

Welcome to Morganville. You'll never want to leave. And even if you do...well, you can't. Sorry about that.

There's a ghost in this house! An unquiet spirit!"
Unquiet spirit?" Shane said under his breath. "Is that politically correct for pissed off? You know, like Undead American or something?
β
β
Rachel Caine (Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1))
β
In this whole screwed-up town, you're the only thing that's always been right to me," he whispered. "I love you, Claire." She saw something that might have been just a flash of panic go across his expression, but then he steadied again. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I do. I love you.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))
β
Is this your bedroom?" she asked, and turned to look at him. Myrnin straightened and jammed the big red floppy hat back on his head. The feathers waved back and forth.
"Don't get any ideas," he said. "I'm far too young and innocent for that kind of thinking.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires, #9))

[Myrnin to Claire about their costumes of Pierrot and Harlequin, respectively]

"Not about this."
"Pity. I suppose that's what comes of your main education flowing from Google.

Expecting anybody else?' Shane asked Eve. 'Your distant cousin Jack the Ripper dropping by too?'
'Screw you, Collins.

Rachel Caine (Bite Club (The Morganville Vampires, #10))
β
I am never taking a trip with either of you ever again.' Eve said. 'Ever.'
Excellent' Shane said. 'Then next trip, we hit the strip bar.'
I have a gun, Shane,' Eve sighed.
What, you think i actually loaded yours?'
Eve flipped him off, and Claire laughed.

Mornings are pure evil from the pits of hell, which is why I don't do them anymore." Eve

Shane dragged Eve's suitcase into the room and dumped it on the floor beside her bed. βHey, Dark Princess? Hereβs your crap. Also, bite me.

Claire. Wake up.β She blinked and realized that her head was on Shaneβs shoulder, and Michael was nowhere to be seen. Her first thought was, Oh my God, am I drooling? Her second was that she hadnβt realized she was so close to him, snuggled in. Her third was that although Michaelβs part of the couch was empty, Shane hadnβt moved away. And he was watching her with warm, friendly eyes. Oh. Oh, wow, that was nice.

You know what we call pedestrians in Morganville? Mobile bloodbanks.

She can go with us to the lab and keep Myrnin pinned down while we pull the plug, if he's not... you know, better."
"Define BETTER with that guy."
"Not all fangs and raaaaar.

Rachel Caine (Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires, #9))
β
Bishop was all done with the witty conversation. 'Will you swear?'
And Myrnin said, shockingly, 'I will.' And he proceeded to, a string of swearwords that made Claire blink. He ended with, 'βfrothy fool-born apple-john! Cheater of vandals and defiler of dead dogs!' and did another twirl and bow. He looked up with a red, red grin that was more like a leer. 'Is that what you meant, my lord?

Rachel Caine (Feast of Fools (The Morganville Vampires, #4))

When I want to be lectured on strategy, I'll consult someone who's actually won battles,' Amelie said. 'Not one who ran away from them.'
'Snap,' Eve said.
'You know what they're talking about?' Shane asked.
'Don't need to know to get that one. She smacked him so hard his momma felt it.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Fade Out (The Morganville Vampires, #7))
β
Shane looked down at the staked vamp at his feet. 'Claire?'
'Yes?'
'You staked a vampire with a number two pencil.'
'I didnβt actually check the number.'
'Have I told you lately how freaking awesome you are?'
She tried to smile, but her heart was fluttering in her chest now, and not in a good way. 'Compliments later. We really need to get out of here and get to the car. Any ideas?'
'Find another pencil and Iβll pin this one down, too,' Michael said.
'You know how weird that sounds, right?' Shane said. 'Right, never mind. Number two pencil, coming up. Why do I feel like weβre taking a test?
β
β
Rachel Caine (Kiss of Death (The Morganville Vampires, #8))
β
Faster!" Shane yelled. Eve hit the gas hard, and whipped around a slower-moving van. The firing ceased, at least for now. "You see why I didn't want you to stop?"
"Okay, your father is officially off my Christmas list!" Eve yelled. "Oh my God, look at my car!
β
β
Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))
β
The second bathroom's downstairs - that's kind of the emergency backup bathroom when Shane's in there moussing his hair for like an hour or something...."
"Bite me!" Shane yelled from behind the closed door.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1))
β
I'll do it!"
"No, you won't," Shane and Michael said, at virtually the same time. Shane continued. "You're barely on your feet, Claire. You don't go anywhere, not without me."
"And me," Michael said.
"Hell," Eve sighed. "I guess that means I have to go, too. Which I may not ever forgive you for, even if I don't die horribly.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Lord of Misrule (The Morganville Vampires, #5))
β
You humans, always eating. I'll make you soup. You can eat it while you keep working." Myrnin set aside his book and walked into the back of the lab.
"Don't use the same beaker you used for poisons!" Claire yelled after him. He waved a pale hand. "I mean it!
β
β
Rachel Caine (Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires, #9))
β
Whatβs your name?' she asked, and surprised herself. But for some reason, she wanted to know.
Deanβs brotherβhe hadnβt been just some nameless Bad Guy Number Four. This vampire wasnβt, either. He had a name, a history, maybe even people who cared what happened to him.
'My name is none of your business,' he said, and continued to stare out the window, even though there was nothing but blurry brick out there.
'Can I call you None for short?
β
β
Rachel Caine (Carpe Corpus (The Morganville Vampires, #6))
β
You canβt be serious,β Eve said. βGuys. People get eaten in places like this. At the very least, we get locked in a room and terrible, evil things get done to us and put on the Internet. Iβve seen the movies.β
"Eve,β Michael said. βHorror movies are not documentaries.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Kiss of Death (The Morganville Vampires, #8))
β
What's possible?' she asked.
'Anything,' he said absently. 'But thatβs not what I was talking about. Oh, hello, Claire. Youβre in good time. I need an extra pair of hands.'
'As long as I keep them attached,' she said, which earned her a startled stare.
The things you say to me, youβd think I was some sort of monster.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Bite Club (The Morganville Vampires, #10))
β
I knew weβd wear them down,' Eve said. 'After all, we really are amazingly cool.' And now it was Eveβs turn for the high five with Shane. 'For a bunch of misfit geeks, slackers, and losers.'
'Which one are you?' Shane asked. She flipped him off. 'Oh, right. Loser. Thanks for reminding me.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Kiss of Death (The Morganville Vampires, #8))
β
Not nearly enough. Not recently, anyway.β And she was sad about that.
βI know,β he said, and kissed the back of her hand. βWeβll fix it. Get some sleep.β
βNight,β she said, and watched him walk toward the door. βHey. Howβd you get in?β
He wiggled his fingers at her in a spooky oogie-boogie pantomime. βIβm a vampire. I have secret powers ,β he said with a full-on fake Transylvanian accent, which he dropped to say, βActually, your mom let me in.β
βSeriously? My mom? Let you in my room? In the middle of the night?β
He shrugged. βMoms like me.β
He gave her a full-on Hollywood grin, and slipped out the door.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Carpe Corpus (The Morganville Vampires, #6))
β
Hess laughed. "You know, I thought you were a mousy little thing when I first saw you, Claire, but you're not, are you? Not underneath."
Oh, I am mousy," she said."All this scares the hell out of me. But I don't know what else to do, sir, except try.
Even a mouse bites.
β
β
Rachel Caine (The Dead Girls' Dance (The Morganville Vampires, #2))
β
Anybody else think that was weird?' Shane asked as they got into the car. Eve sent him an exasperated glance; the three of them were, of course, in the backseat. Amelie had the front, with Michael.
'Ya think? In general, or in particular?'
'Weird that we got through the entire thing, and I didnβt have to hit anybody.'
There was a moment of silence. Michael said, as he started the car, 'Youβre right, Shane. That is strange.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Fade Out (The Morganville Vampires, #7))
β
I heard this girl worked for Bishop,' said one of the guys, who had a tire iron resting on his shoulder. 'Carrying around his death warrants. Like one of those Nazi collaborators.'
'You heard wrong,' Shane said. 'Sheβs my girl. Now back off.'
'Letβs hear from her,' said the leader of the pack, and locked stares with Claire. 'So? You working for the vamps?'
Shane sent her a quick, warning glance.
Claire took in a deep breath and said, 'Absolutely.'
'Ah hell,' Shane breathed. 'Okay, then. Run.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Fade Out (The Morganville Vampires, #7))
β
Have I mentioned how hot Michael is? Hot, hot, hot. I mean, all guitar players are crushworthy - it's like it's issued with the talent - but I've been noticing lately that he is total Hottie McHottie of Hotland. Not that I could tell him that. Luckily, he is a boy. Hence, too dense to figure out why I'm staring at his ass.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires, #1))
β
Are you armed?" Oliver asked her.
She glanced down at her backpack and instantly, instinctively held back. "No."
"Lie to me again and I'll put you out on the street and do this myself."
Claire swallowed. "Uh, yeah."
"With what?"
"Silver-coated stakes, wooden stakes, a crossbow, about ten bolts . . . oh, and a squirt gun with some silver-nitrate solution."
He smiled grimly at the dark windshield. "What, no grenade launchers?"
"Would they work?"
"I choose not to comment.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires, #9))
β
He's not doing anything he shouldn't be doing, right?"
"Like what?"
"Like hitting on you."
"Ew. No, of course not. He doesn't see me that way."
Michael shook his head and went back to his coffee.
"What? You think he does?"
"Sometimes he looks at you a little... oddly, that's all. Maybe you're right. Maybe he just wants you for your blood."
"Again, Ew! What's with you this morning?"
"Not enough coffee.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires, #9))
β
Michael rose to his feet and padded down the last few steps silently, came up behind Kim, and leaned over her to say, βI vant to drink your bloodβ in a heavy, fake-Dracula accent. She shrieked, flailed, and a zombie ate her brains on-screen.
You sabotaged me!β Kim yelled, dropped the controller, and smacked him hard on the chest. βI canβt believe you just totally sabotaged me!β
Canβt let him lose,β Michael said, as Shane hit the high score and the victory music sounded. βGotta live with the dude.β
They high-fived.
Youβre seriously going to take that as a win,β Kim said. βWhen he totally cheated for you.β
Yes,β Shane said. βI seriously am.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Fade Out (The Morganville Vampires, #7))
β
You're kidding," Shane said. "Do you think I want to visit Crazy McTeeth in his lair of insanity?"
"No," Claire said, "but I'm pretty sure you won't like it if I go alone when I just kind of promised to be with you. So...?"
"Right. I've been missing Nutty McFang anyway."
"Stop making up names for him."
"What about Count Crackula?"
"Just stop.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Last Breath (The Morganville Vampires, #11))
β
You okay?"
"Fine."
"Your heart's beating really fast."
"Gee, thanks. That's very comforting that you can hear it."
He smiled, and it was the old Michael, the one she'd first met before all the vamp stuff.
"Yeah, I know it is. Sorry. Just stay behind me if there's trouble."
"You sound like Shane."
"Well, he did say he'd kill me if I got you hurt. I'm just looking after my own neck."
"Liar.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Ghost Town (The Morganville Vampires, #9))
β
I like the sound of that, crashing Monica's party," he glanced at Michael, then quickly away. "What about you? That break some kind of vampire rules or something?"
"Blow me Shane."
"Boys," Eve said primly. "Language. Minor at the table."
"Well," Shane said, "I wasn't actually planning to do it."
Claire rolled her eyes. "Not like it's the first time I've heard it. Or said it."
"You shouldnt say it," Michael said, all seriousness. "No, I mean it. Girls should say 'eat me' not 'blow me'. Wouldn't recommend 'bite me' though. Not around here.
β
β
Rachel Caine (Midnight Alley (The Morganville Vampires, #3))
β
Are you in the car that's almost caused three accidents on North Vance?" Hannah asked. "Because I'm following you with my lights flashing, and whoever's driving isn't pulling over."
"Let him go," Claire said. "Trust me. You aren't going to get him to stop."
"Oh, God. It's Myrnin, isn't it?"
"Tell that police lady to stop chasing me," Myrnin said, annoyed, from the front seat. "Really, I'm not THAT bad at this.

She came awake, stomach rumbling, and opened her eyes to see a plate being held right under her nose.
When she reached for it, Shane snatched it back. 'Nuh-uh. Mine.'
'Share!' she demanded.
'Man, you are one grabby girlfriend.'
She grinned. It always made her feel so fiercly warm inside to hear him say that- the girlfriend part, not the grabby part.
'If you love me, you'll give me a taco.'
'Seriously? That's all you got? What about you'll do sexy, illegal things to me for a taco?'
'Not for a taco,' she said. 'I'm not cheap.'
'They're brisket tacos.'
'Now you're talking.

This near enough? Whatcha gonna do, doll girl? Cry all over me?"
Claire hid her eyes as the biker reached out for Eve with one tattooed hand.
No," Eve said breathlessly. "I'm going to let my boyfriend beat the crap out of you."
There was a dull thunk of wood meeting flesh, and a howl. Then another, much harder thunk, and a crash as a body hit the floor.
The biker was down. Claire stared at him in disbelief, then looked past him, to the figure standing there with the field hockey stick in both hands.
Michael Glass.

Promise me youβll marry me. Not now. Someday. Because I need to know.β
Claire felt a flutter inside, like a bird trying to fly, and a rush of heat that made her dizzy. And something else, something fragile as a soap bubble,
and just as beautiful. Joy, in the middle of all this horror and heartbreak.
βYes,β she whispered back. βI promise.β
And she kissed him, and kissed him, and kissed him, while the sun came up and bathed Morganville in one last, shining day.

Hey,β Shane said from the other side of the bars. βTrade you cigarettes for a chocolate bar.β
Funny,β Eve said. She was almost back to her old unGothed self again, though there were still red splotches on her cheeks and around her eyes. βHow come youβre always behind bars, troublemaker?β
Look whoβs talking. I didnβt try to outrun the cops in a hearse.β
That hearse had horsepower.β Eve got that moony look in her eyes again. βI love that hearse.

Myrnin, who hadn't said much, suddenly reached out and wrapped his arms around her.
She stiffened, shocked, and for a panicked second wondered whether he'd suddenly decided to snack on her neck... but it was just a hug.
His body felt cold against hers, and way too close, but then he let go and stepped back. "You've done very well. I'm extremely proud of you," he said. There was a touch of color high in his pale cheeks. "Do go home now. And shower. You reek like the dead."
Which, coming from a vampire, was pretty rich.

Hey, Mikey? You get her hurt and I'll end you.'
'You let anything happen to Eve and I'll do the same,' Michael said. He'd just finished kissing Eve, too. 'While you're at it, don't get yourself killed, either, bro.'
'Ditto. And don't kiss me.'
Claire cocked her head at him, exasperated. 'Seriously, Shane? Ditto? That's the best you can do?'
Shane and Michael exchanged identical looks and shrugs. Guys.
'Let me show you idiots how it's done,' Eve said, and hugged Claire fiercely. She kissed her on the cheek. 'I love you, CB. Please take care of yourself, okay?'
'I love you, too,' Claire said, and suddenly her throat felt tight and her eyes burned with tears. 'I really do.'
Shane and Michael watched them with identical expressions of blank bemusement, and finally Shane said, 'So basically, it's what I said. Ditto.

Her hands brushed Shane's, and he let go of the cards and took hold.
And then somehow she was in his lap, and he was kissing her. Hadn't meant to do that but...well. She couldn't exactly be sorry about it, because he tasted amazing, and his lips were so soft and his hands were so strong...
He leaned back, eyes half shut, and he was smiling. Shane didn't smile all that much, and it always left her breathless and tingling. There was a secrecy about it like he only ever smiled at her, and it just felt... perfect. 'Claire, you're being careful right?' He smoothed hair back from her face. 'Seriously. You'd tell me if you got into trouble?'
'No trouble,' She lied, thinking about Monica's not-so veiled threats, and that glimpse of Shane's dad seated across from Oliver in the coffee shop.'No trouble at all.'
'Good.' He kissed her again, then moved down her jawline to her neck, and, wow neck nibbles took her breath away. She closed her eyes and buried her fingers in his warm hair, trying to tell him through every touch how much she liked this, like him, loved...
Her eyes came open, fast.
She did not just think about that.
Shaneβs warm hands moved up her sides, thumbs grazing the sides of her breasts again, and he traced his fingers across the thin skin of her collarbone...down to where the neck of her T-shirt stopped him. Teasing. Pulling it down an inch, then two.
And then, maddeningly, he let go and leaned back, lips damp. He licked them, watching her, and then gave her that slow crazy, sexy smile again.
'Go to bed' he said. 'Before I decide to come with.
