Surrender allows you to merge in your own eternal being.

Don’t be a storehouse of memories. Leave past, future and even present thoughts behind. Be a witness to life unfolding by itself. Be free of all attachments, fears and concerns by keeping your mind inside your own heart. Rest in being. Like this, your life is always fresh and imbued with pure joy and timeless presence. Be happy, wise and free.

Sometimes, Grace throws you and your ‘world’ into  the washing machine, full spin, so that the fearful and controlling tendency  is compelled to offer itself to the Totality—to the will and dance of the Cosmos.

You are the unchanging manifesting as the changefulness

Eternity is not endless time,  eternity means timeless.

You can’t make a map and expect a river to bend to it.

There is a presence, a silence, a stillness which is here by itself. There is no doer of it, no creator of this stillness. It is simply here in you, with you. It is the fragrance of your own self. There is nothing to do about this, it is naturally present. This fragrance of peace, this spaciousness, it is the fragrance of your own being.

Never assume that you have attained truth. Don't make any claim to knowledge. Form no conclusion or evaluation concerning truth. The minute you do, your downfall is assured. Whenever you imagine you know something, you cease being open to the living exploration. You have closed a door and cut off the oxygen to the breathing truth.

Throw everything away, forget about it all! You are learning too much, remembering too much, trying too hard . . . relax a little bit, give life a chance to flow its own way, unassisted by your mind and effort. Stop directing the river’s flow.

Once you begin to recognise the divine gifts in life, you come to see that there are so many. Your life is abundant.

Live by the light of your own heart... but make sure this heart is silent and empty.

If you take yourself to be the body and mind only, you will die! When you discover yourself as awareness, the fear of death will not trouble you any longer.

Don't worry about anything at all. You are not here by accident. This form is just a costume for a while. But the one who is behind the costume, this one is eternal. You must know this. If you know this and trust this, you don't have to worry about anything. This world is so full of love. And your heart, your being, is so full of love, so full of peace. You don't have to go to some place else to find peace. It is right where you are.

You have to see and meet God in this life. Don’t let this life go by and miss discovering the Supreme One. You will find him inside as your constant being. For only like this does your life stand the chance to be miraculous.

It does not matter what comes up. What matters is who you are, the one perceiving it.

The ways of the mind are ancient  but your Self is timeless.

As your satsang deepens, the debris starts floating to the surface  bringing much discomfort to the body-mind.  Now is not the time for  therapy or analysis. Simply leave it to the  Sovereign Power whose benevolence  washes away all delusion.  Remember this!

Don’t worry about anything in this world and your eyes shine bright again. Your heart becomes open, clear and pure. Trust. As you move, Grace goes ahead of you. Even before you take your first step, she is there with you and walks with you along the way. Therefore, lay down your arms. Lay down all your techniques and your efforts so that you may discover the effortless silence. Know that the whole universe is supporting your awakening. Neither doubt nor fear. All is well. Take rest. Find and feel your Heart again.

The sage sees only the Self. The person sees lots of persons. One sees from wholeness, one sees from fragmentation. Both are you.

Who can count how many lives we have tasted? Look at the stars. How old are they? And a star is not even sentient. You are sentient. How can you be less in age than a star? You don’t know at all. What you do know is that right now you exist and are here. All take this for granted. However, what should be known is what you are here as. And if what you are here as is clear, who knows this? You want to learn about so many things, but about yourself, you are not sure.

You imagine a didgeridoo vibrating on your stomach will heal all your bullshit. So we fancy all this stuff, but the Truth we don’t give a second glance—it’s far too simple and effortless for your complex mind.

But there is nowhere you need to go to find Truth.

You can lose everything else, but you can never lose the awareness that you are. It is the consciousness of Being and Self-awareness that we love.

It’s natural that things go wrong sometimes—they go wrong so that they can go right.

Give yourself a little time to grow in wisdom, to mature in understanding.

I came here to share some good news with you: You are complete, you are perfection itself, beyond the concept of perfection. You are the eternal principle. You are there before the concept ‘I am’ arose—immovable. From the highest standpoint, you perceive everything as your play. You are all there is.

We are never without grace. We can never be abandoned, it is always there. God can never abandon mankind. From just one candle, you can light a million candles without putting strain on the first candle. From one awakened being, you can set light into a million souls, so powerful is the light. If you go into a room full of light, but outside is darkness, and you open the curtain, that darkness won't come in. But if you go into a room which is dark and you open up a little tiny bit of a curtain, it will fill the whole room with light. Such is the power of the light. We are this light and we must discover this...

The simplicity of Being, the naturalness of the Self, requires no technique, strategy, plan, knowledge, or learning.

This contentment is not ‘about’ something, and so it is impossible for anything to have any power over it. It is Self-content, Self-radiant, Self-complete.

It’s not even that you have to drop vain pursuits. God is not asking you to give up your sweeties, your favorite treats. It’s just that you start to lose interest in them.

Very often in our culture, you are treated as though you have little spiritual capacity, as though you have no inherent power, and that people ‘in the know’ have to always liquidize your food in order for you to grow. But it is important that the true seeker understands that they must be open enough to be deeply challenged to awaken the living aspiration necessary for true freedom. To be free you are going to have to break out of the mold of personal conditioning, out of your cocoon. Each sincere seeker must be willing to undergo the necessary transformation from caterpillar consciousness to the butterfly of freedom!

Don’t try to create some kind of shape for your life as if you are shearing it with a pair of clippers. Don’t prune down your own life into the shape you think it should be. Don’t be a bonsai, be a mighty oak.

Since you are bold and persistent I shall be equally bold: Your questions are not real. My answers are not real. The world as you perceive it is not real. War and peace, selfish and deluded projections of aggressive-natured beings, are equally unreal. Aspirations are unreal. Solutions based in egoic identity are unreal. Nature perceived as separate from one’s self, unreal. I also, as an autonomous entity, am unreal. You—equally unreal. Life itself, as is fashioned inside the human psyche is unreal. Death too, as is imagined based upon the ill-conceived notion that we are merely our bodies and personalities, is unreal. All is illusion—unreal. The Self, timeless and spaceless, immutable, beyond all qualities, alone is real. You must look within to find and confirm this for yourself. Until and unless you do, your comprehension of the world is based on very shaky ground; a ground of naive assumptions and second-hand knowledge.

I come to call you Home. Those who resonate with my words and follow them internally, will find that place and know It's completeness, its joy and fullness. I have come to call you away from suffering, from fear and from a life of sorrow and into your own, divine Being. I did not come here to give you decorative stories, to excite your imagination, or sign you up for some long program but to show you how available Truth is, and to remind you that you are never separate from It. No person on this planet is apart from the Truth in the Heart and yet the world is so vast and varied in expression. The greatest good and greatest evil is here. In this forest of duality and complexity you must find your way Home. You must win your Self back. Wisdom and trust will be your compass. Many voices came to call us but we are here today because we are freshly called by the voice of God, Love, Truth. Do not come half way home, but fully home. I know the voice that called you is true and Truth and that where you are being called to is also Real. It is inside your own Heart. It is what gives me the strength to be here. I love to see the beings being set free from the hypnosis of conditioning; from fears, false projection and the grip of ego. And I know that to be liberated is not difficult. It requires only openness and the sincere desire to be free. I don't need to hear anything about your past. Your stories are of no interest to me. That is not how I know you. I know you only through your Heart. That is my true connection with you - the living power of God. It is That which I respond to in you and it is only This that I know. I can only keep reminding you of It by pointing you again and again to the obvious in yourself. Now you must respond to my pointing. This will complete this yoga of seeing. Find and be one with That which is imperishable. Be merged in the Absolute. Don't go to sleep.

What about physical pain? What about suffering? Hand over your existence to existence and keep quiet. All is grace. If you really had the free will and power to shape your destiny, to create your ideal life, you would most probably leave out all discomforts, all that challenges your ego, all that exposes feelings of guilt or shame or anything that threatens your attachments. You would exclude all these and replace them with chocolate-flavoured experiences. [Laughter] But however much you try to construct and secure a life that satisfies your projections, you would still fail to match, in quality and auspiciousness, the life that is unfolding without human intention. A man once said to Sri Nisargadatta, “Maharaj, your words resonate deep within my heart. I feel their power and know them to be true. But if I am to be honest in describing my experience, I would have to admit that throughout my life, I’m continuously experiencing suffering!” And Maharaj replied, “No, this is not true. You are not experiencing suffering, you are suffering your experiencing.

In reality there is no such thing as someone being able to “stay permanently” in the Self. No one has ever done it: the Buddha couldn’t do it, neither could Christ do it. Rather, the Self has been recognized as what we are, and it is effortlessly and timelessly perfect, always. In truth, there is no actual “in and out” of the Self, no fluctuation—for these are seen to arise within the immutable awareness.

You have the innate power to discern that a presence is arising within you that is not the mind. The Divine is giving you a kiss from within. And even a lightly blown kiss from God will be enough to stir you into embarking upon the search for freedom. That kiss will set your heart on fire!

Why does Beingness or God bring about such suffering sometimes? Is it that we deserve it? It is not like that. Suffering enables us to feel compassion and empathy for other beings also. It deepens and lightens our own being by washing off the slime of the trivial, and prepares the soil of the psyche for higher understanding. Adopt an attitude of gratitude in all expressions of life.

The fear is always greater than the actuality. The fear comes because of lack of trust. You feel you can take better care of yourself than God can. You fear what God may have planned for you may not be what you want. This is probably true because the dreams we have are confined to what we know of life and ourselves, which is infinitesimal to the vastness that Is. When we let go of what we think will make us happy, we allow Grace to breathe, and great and beautiful things not even imagined of are given space to happen.

There are two rules of action for all sentient beings, for all galaxies, and for all time. Where these rules are honored, above and beyond the manufactured laws of government, there is always peace, freedom and abundance. The first rule of action is: Feed the poor.
