The way of Wisdom lies, therefore, in recognizing things which happen to you as your own karma—not as punishments for misdeeds or rewards for virtue (for there really is no “bad” or “good” karma), but as your own doing. The role that kamma plays in the awakening is empowering. And the real self effort is that which one does after he becomes the Self (Pure Soul) which takes one to moksha.

When we cease to exist, the world we make dissolves, not the world that other people inhabit. Our perception and the way we view everything ceases with us. If we dissolve our conceptual mind, the underlying purity manifests spontaneously. When we know directly that there is no inherent existence either in our self or the world, then whatever arises in experience has no power over us. When the lion mistakes his reflection in the water for something real, he is startled and snarls; when he understands the illusory nature of the reflection, he does not react with fear. Lacking true understanding, we react to the illusory projections of our own mind with grasping and aversion and create karma. When we know the true empty nature, we are free.

Assume that karma is real: what you give, you get back. If you treat people well, you’ll be treated well. If you spread happiness, you’ll reap happiness. If you are generous, you’ll be rewarded with generosity. Practice loving, compassion, and extraversion.

The whole world is indeed trapped by misery. What is the misery about? Due to ignorance of one’s own Real Self (agnanta). Due to ignorance of one’s own Real Self (agnanta), attachment-abhorrence (raag-dwesh) keeps on occuring, which leads to this misery. Only through Gnan [Knowledge of the Real Self] can one prevail in a misery-free state. There is no other solution at all.

If anything, other than our own ‘Real Self’, remains in our memory, it is all vishaya [subjects of pleasures that take one away from the Self]

To say, "I did it" is in the form of an 'evidentiary doer' (nimit), it is (to be understood) 'as an evidentiary doer' (nimitbhaav) and it is the unfolding karma (udaykarma) that is making him 'do'. If one lives his entire life by maintaining awareness over just these two statements of 'mine' (Dada), then he has come closer to liberation! He maintains just this much awareness, he leaves these statements 'as they are' and becomes completely alert, then He will indeed become the Self! This is the only real instrument to become a pure Soul (Shuddhatma)!

Real Purusharth (spiritual effort to progress as the Self) actually happens when one becomes impartial towards his own self.

What is considered as Purusharth (real spiritual effort to progress as the Self)? It is when there is a sense of independence (swatantrapanu), there is Self-dependency (Swa-dhin), there is no dependency on external factors (paradhin). Whereas here, work is only done when other circumstances come together. That which happens subject to scientific circumstantial evidences is prarabdh (an effect of past life karma).

Real Purusharth (spiritual effort to progress as the Self) is shukladhyan (the internal state that renders the constant awareness of ‘I am pure Soul’). While relative purusharth (effort) is dharmadhyan (the virtuous internal state of being that prevents one from hurting oneself or others).

When one comes to know and realize his real Self (Self-realized), then the state of non-bondage (abandh dasha) will arise (so charging of new karma stops).

No circumstance interferes with the one whose attachment and abhorrence towards the body are gone. Circumstances are not the obstacles, attachment and abhorrence is the real interference. Circumstance is a gneya (that to be Known) and you are a Gnata (Knower).

The relationship with the world is a relative one; it is not a real (tatvik; eternal) relation. If one becomes aware of this, one can come out of it.

Worldly life means it is ever changing. So where is the need for [worrying] ‘this will happen’ or ‘that will happen’? Why have attachment for that [someone] which shows regards towards you one day and disregard the next? It is worth having attachment for trikali vastu [eternal element that remains constant during the three-time span - past, present and future], which is one’s own (real) ‘nature’. And one should do attachment for the Gnani Purush [the enlightened one] who graces you with the awareness of your Self. Never will a change occur in Him.

Your vyavahaar (worldly interactions) should be pure, only then can the self become pure. Nobody should complain [about you].

When we do our best to treat others with kindness, it’s often a struggle to determine which actions best express our love and care for ourselves.

If you want to know the answer to ‘Who am I?’, then you will have to go to a Gnani purush [the enlightened one]. The Gnani Purush will give you Knowledge of your real Self [Who Am I] in the presence of the egoism. Thereafter your accounts (karmic) will be settled [& things will start falling in place].

To be a conscientious human is real karma.

Real karma or real human duty is the act that is carried out with the genuine hope of bringing a change outside of us – in the world, not in anticipation of reward. And that very act of pure conscience is karma, morality, religion, godliness, spirituality all together. These are all varied terms for the one and the same thing, that is being a conscientious human being. In short, to be a conscientious human is real karma – it is real spirituality – it is real religion.

This doctrine teaches us that all sentient beings have the Real Spirit[FN#377] of Original Enlightenment (within themselves). From time immemorial it is unchanging and pure. It is eternally bright, and clear, and conscious. It is also named the Buddha-nature, or Tathagata-garbha.[FN#378] As it is, however, veiled by illusion from time without beginning, (sentient beings) are not conscious of its existence, and think that the nature within themselves are degenerated. Consequently they are given to bodily pleasures, and producing Karma, suffer from birth and death. The great Enlightened One, having compassion on them, taught that everything in the universe is unreal. He pointed out that the Real Spirit of Mysterious Enlightenment (within them) is pure and exactly the same as that of Buddha. Therefore he says in Avatamsaka-sutra[FN#379]: "There are no sentient beings, the children of Buddha, who are not endowed with wisdom of Tathagata;[FN#380] but they cannot attain to Enlightenment simply because of illusion and attachment. When they are free from illusion, the Universal Intelligence,[FN#381] the Natural Intelligence,[FN#382] the Unimpeded Intelligence,[FN#383] will be disclosed (in their minds)." [FN#376]

a farmer in his field cannot force the nutrients of water or earth into the roots of his grain. What does he do, then? He removes the obstructing weeds. With these gone, the nutrients enter, of themselves, the roots of the grain.” In the same way, when negative karmas, habits, deeds, thoughts, influences, associations, and situations are uprooted from our minds and lives, the higher consciousness and states of evolution will occur naturally. This is exceedingly important for us to keep in mind. For it is purity (shaucha) in this form that enables the divine light to reach us. Santosha: contentment, peacefulness Santosha consists of the passive aspect of contentment and peacefulness and the more positive aspect of joy and happiness. Santosha is a fundamentally cheerful attitude based on a harmonious interior condition and an intellectually spiritual outlook. This is possible only through meditation, and is one of the signs of progress in meditation. This must not be equated with mere intellectual “positive thinking” or a forced external “happiness” which is a camouflage, not a real state. Santosha is an inner-based quality that occurs spontaneously. It need not be cultivated or “acted out” any more than

The cult of positivity we have does everyone a disservice. It leads us to believe we’re more in charge of the world than we are, and holds us responsible for every pain and heartbreak we endure. It sets up a one-false-move world, in which we must be careful not to upset the gods, or karma, or our bodies with our thoughts and intentions. It co-opts tools of comfort and liberation by forcing them into the service of denial and self-deception. It makes us speak useless platitudes to those in grief, harping on some glorious imagined future reward while ignoring their very real and current pain.

And if you keep on heating it, it becomes steam and evaporates into space. Those people who practice come to melt their hindrances and attachments. Why do they practice? Because it is their karma to practice, just as it is other people's karma not to practice. Man's discriminating thoughts build up a great thought-mass in his mind, and this is what he mistakenly regards as his real self. In fact, it is a mental construction based on ignorance. The purpose of Zen meditation is to dissolve this thought-mass. What is finally left is the real self. You enter into the world of the selfless. And if you don't stop there, if you don't think about this realm or cling to it, you will continue in your practice until you become one with the Absolute.” The first student said, “What do you mean by the Absolute?” Soen-sa said, “Where does that question come from?” The student was silent. Soen-sa said, “That is the Absolute.” “I don't understand.” “No matter how much I talk about it, you won't understand. The Absolute is precisely something you can't understand.

Yo era muy feliz en Amazon, mucho. Aunque haya gente que crea que ser escritor autopublicado sólo da para cervezas, yo vivía de vender mis libros ahí (o sobrevivía). Era un sueldo modesto, sí, pero digno y lleno de satisfacciones porque para mí triunfar era eso: no ser famosa ni tener dinero, sino poder vivir de lo que amo hacer. Dejé hace dos años la enseñanza buscando cumplir mi sueño y tampoco voy a decir que fuera un camino de rosas porque he trabajado como una burra en este tiempo, he sacrificado horas de sol y de vida, de parque, de conversar, reír y compartir con la gente, de juegos y mismo a mi pequeño, de ver la calle o vida social o de gestos "para ricos" como tomarme una coca cola en una terraza. Esto, lejos de desanimarme, me hacía sentir aún más orgullosa, ¡lo había logrado! Y cada vez tenía más lectores y les gustaba lo que yo hacía, les hacía felices... y ellos (vosotros) a mí. Con este panorama, entenderéis que no es que me haya dado el siroco e ido de mi trabajo porque sí. Nadie destroza su vida (a no ser que tengas una lesión cerebral, claro). No, no ha sido así. Me he visto obligada a ello tras situaciones muy graves que he intentado que se repararan antes de quedarme en la calle (esa es la realidad), pero no ha sido posible. Veréis que mis libros en papel siguen a la venta (ya que es otra distribuidora) y esos se quedan sin problema. Quizá veáis alguno que otro en digital (o todos en el futuro) pero será a través de otras plataformas o editoriales, no por inclusión directa mía. Así pues, si en el futuro encontráis una mía, prefiero, por principios, que lo compréis en cualquier otra plataforma menos en Amazon. En unos días saldrá a la luz en varios medios de comunicación todo lo que ha sucedido para que comprendáis por qué esto es ya del todo irreversible. No lo hago porque tenga que justificarme ni dar explicaciones (cada uno pensará lo que quiera al margen de mis palabras), sino por mi sentido de lo ético y lo justo, porque debo avisar a mis compañeros de lo vulnerables y desprotegidos que están en una empresa que te golpea antes de preguntar y que jamás pide perdón aunque te atropelle; donde se hace la vista gorda con el delincuente y se persigue al inocente; donde se castiga la honestidad (la real, no la de postureo). Muchos estarán sonriendo al leer esto pensando en "los líos en los que meto" o que algo habré hecho. Da igual; lo que no saben esas personas es que mañana puede ocurrirles a ellos, que en Amazon no importamos, que sólo somos números y se carga a quien le molesta. También sé que ahora hay gente (suelen ser escritores frustrados) disfrutando con estas líneas y aprovechando para mentir, tergiversar o insultar gratuitamente. Eso sólo habla mal de ti, no de mí. Siempre me ha resultado incomprensible la gente que encuentra placer en el dolor de los demás, en sus problemas. Pero la vida es larga y el karma, un cabroncete. De todas formas, pronto entenderéis toda la historia y estará ahí para el que desee ver la verdad. El que no quiera hacerlo, ni aportando todas las pruebas del mundo lo hará porque su intención es otra, y tampoco estoy en un juicio, que es donde se aportan. Ahora debo pensar mucho sobre mi futuro, pero os prometo una cosa: que podréis leerme si queréis seguir haciéndolo. Soy consciente de que parte de mi trabajo de estos años se ha ido al traste, ha desaparecido, porque perderé lectores al no estar en Amazon (y también dejaré de ganarlos). Pero soy y seré escritora siempre. Amo escribir y no me veo haciendo otra cosa. Sin embargo, también debo pagar mi techo y mi plato en la mesa, así que ahora es todo muy confuso, con muchas posibilidades abiertas en mi camino además. The unification or “yog” of all humans in the psyche of the humans, that rises through simple human action or karma, with pure nonconflicted devotion or bhakti to the action and the self, while learning through healthy, effort-less effort or hatha and knowledge or gyana, is the king of all yoga, that is, raja yoga. This unification among humans is the real samadhi or nirvana in the civilized society of thinking humanity, for it brings true oneness with your fellow beings which leads to a real, actual, genuine paradise on earth, without the need for theorizing and philosophizing.

At the ripe old age of eighty-five, he finally succumbed to the near-constant government nagging that he was a drain on the system. After a little research, he retired to Mythian. It was fun at first, but eventually the ogres, goblins, and skeleton armies couldn’t replace his longing for a life of purpose. One day, after waking up for the thousandth time—perfectly rested yet unfulfilled—Tom realized the only thing he enjoyed about living was being asleep. That’s why, having reached level 164 for no good reason, he gave up adventuring, went to sleep, and never woke up again.

The laws of Karma state that our soul is constantly influenced by our karma as it passes from one life to another. We are what our ‘accumulated actions’—Sanchita karmas—are. What we do, we become. Hence we are the masters of our destiny as by changing our actions, we can change our destiny for not only this life but also future ones.

Those who believe in the principles of Karma would continue to be law-abiding in every situation, as they know that they can’t escape the laws of Karma. They avoid evil deeds because even if they can avoid punishment in this life—they are sure to suffer for their evil acts in future lives.

Results do not matter, in-fact result is a matter itself. What matters is righteous, responsible intentions, perception, decisions, actions, reactions, habits, attitude, behavior, skills and I am constantly, continually working and improving on that. Only this is the secret to successful & happy life.

The ship of relations sails smoothly only when the rowing of ship by two or all or majority sailors on board is in the same direction, having same speed and same frequency. Otherwise, there would be only wastage of time & energy of all on board, without any movement towards the natural goal & purpose of joyous, fruitful journey

When everything is left to God and one is no longer attached to the fruits of actions time can’t stifle or corrode one. Death loses its sting as time’s dominion is no more. To live in time is to live in bondage. When one attains the station of raza or detachment karma can longer bind. If God is the onlyt ransmigrant as Sankara maintains and everything is God’s play, or God alone is the real agent of action as the Quran maintains there is no karma, no bondage. Karma is operative only for the one who has yet to realize hisidentity with the Self. There is in reality no bondage, no karma , no rebirth as God can’t be subject to these things and there is, in reality, nothing but God. This is the final assertion of all Unitarian worldviews.
