We are all innocent, wounded children who have faced many difficulties in our lives. This is true no matter your social status or your background. No one gets through life without some type of wound. And, in fact, our wounds help make us interesting, creative, and unique. But those same wounds also make us neurotic, defensive, and judgemental. When we become brave enough to face our wounds, true healing begins. The Sufi poet Rumi said, βThe wound is the place where the light enters you.β Follow the guidance of this step and let the light enter in. Even a little light is enough.
