فمع أن القرآن يقول أن النميمة وقذف الناس أثم كبير، قلما يبذل البشر أي جهد لكبح أنفسهم عن ممارسة ذلك . فهم لا يكفون عن إدانة شاربي الخمر، أو البحث عن النساء الزانيات لرجمهن، لكن عندما يتعلق الأمر بالنميمة التي هي أثم أعظم بكثير في نظر الله ، فإنهم لا يعرفون أنهم يرتكبون إثما.

الحب لا يمكن تفسيره، ولا يمكن إلا معايشته واختباره. ومع أن الحب لا يمكن تفسيره فهو يفسر كل شيء.

وكما يحتاج الصلصال إلي حرارة عالية ليشتد ّفالحب لا يكتمل إلا بالألم.

وبعد الحزن يأتي فصل آخر، واد آخر، أنت آخر. وتبدأ برؤية الحبيب الذي لا يمكن أن تجده في أي مكان، تراه في كل مكان.

إذا أراد المرء أن يغيِّر الطريقة التي يعامله فيها الناس، فيجب عليه أولاً أن يغيِّر الطريقة التي يعامل فيها نفسه، وإذا لم يتعَّم كيف يحب نفسه حبًا صادقًا كاملاً فلا توجد وسيلة يمكنه فيها أن يحب. لكنه عندما يبلغ تلك المرحلة سيشكر كل شوكة يلقيها عليه الآخرون، فهذا يعني أن الورود ستنهمر قريبًا.

مع الزمن يتحول الألم إلى حزن، ويتحول الحزن إلى صمت، ويتحول الصمت إلى وحدة ضخمة وشاسعة كالمحيطات المظلمة.

من السهل أن تحب إلهاً يتصف بالكمال، والنقاء والعصمة. لكن الأصعب من ذلك أن تحب إخوانك البشر بكل نقائصهم وعيوبهم. تذكّر، أن المرء لا يعرف إلا ما هو قادر على أن يحب. فلا حكمة من دون حب. وما لم نتعلم كيف نحب خلق الله، فلن نستطيع أن نحب حقاً ولن نعرف الله حقاً.

يجب ألا يحول شيء بين نفسك وبين الله ، لا أئمة، ولا قساوسة ولا أحبار ولا أي وصي آخر على الزعامة الأخلاقية أو الدينية، ولا السادة الروحيون، ولا حتى إيمانك. آمن بقيمك ومبادئك، لكن لا تفرضها على الآخرين، وإذا كنت تحطم قلوب الآخرين فمهما كانت العقيدة الدينية التي تعتنقها، فهي ليست جيّدة ابتعد عن عبادة الأصنام بجميع أنواعها، لأنها تشوه رؤيتك، ليكن الله، والله وحده دليلك. تعلم الحقيقة يا صديقي، لكن احرص على ألا تصنع من الحقائق التي تتكون لديك أوثانا !

لا يعنى الصبر أن تتحمل المصاعب سلبا، يل يعنى أن تكون بعيد النظر بحيث تثق بالنتيجة النهائية التي ستتمخض عن أي عملية. ماذا يعني الصبر؟ إنه يعني أن تنظر إلى الشوكة وترى الوردة، أن تنظر إلى الليل وترى الفجر. أما نفاد الصبر فيعنى أن تكون قصير النظر ولا تتمكن من رؤية النتيجة. إن عشاق الله لاينفد صبرهم مطلقا، لأنهم يعرفون أنه لكى يصبح الهلال بدرا، فهو يحتاج إلى وقت

قاعدة أخرى يتكون الفكر والحب من مواد مختلفة فالفكر يربط البشر في عقد لكن الحب يذيب جميع العقد إن الفكر حذر علي الدوام وهو يقول ناصحا "احذر الكثير من النشوة" بينما الحب يقول "لا تكترث أقدم على هذه المجازفة" وفي حين أن الفكر لا يمكن أن يتلاشى بسهولة فإن الحب يتهدم بسهولة ويصبح ركاما من تلقاء نفسه لكن الكنوز تتواري بين الأنقاض والقلب الكسير يخبئ كنوزا.

لقد خلق الله المعاناة لكي تظهر السعادة من خلال نقيضها. فالأشيلء تظهر من خلال أضدادها .وبما أنه لا يوجد نقيض لله، فإنه يظل مخفيا.

إذا كنا نتناول الطعام نفسه, ونغني الأغاني الحزينة ذاتها, ونؤمن بالخرافات عينها, ونحلم بذات الأحلام, فلم لا نكون قادرين على العيش معاً؟

إن المدن تنتصب فوق أعمدة روحية، كالمرايا العملاقة، وهي تعكس قلوب سكانها، فإذا أظلمت هذه القلوب وفقدت إيمانها فإنها ستفقد بريقها وبهاءها. لقد حدث ذلك لمدن كثيرة وهو يحدث دائما.

هل يمكننا أن نحب مخلوقات الله جميعها؟ أنه اختبار صعب ولا يستطيع إلا القليل من الناس اجتيازه.

ليس العشق تسميات ولا علامات ولا تعاريف إنه كما هو؛ نقي وبسيط.

إن القذارة الحقيقية تقبع في الداخل، أما القذارة الأخرى فهي تزول بغسلها. ويوجد نوع واحد من القذارة لا يمكن تطهيرها بالماء النقي، وهو لوثة الكراهية والتعصب التي تلوث الروح. نستطيع أن نطهر أجسامنا بالزهد والصيام، لكن الحب وحده هو الذي يطهر قلوبنا. You can purify your body through abstinence and fasting, but only love will purify your heart.

إذا أردت أن تقوي إيمانك، فيجب أن تكون لينًا في داخلك. لأنه لكي يشتد إيمانك، ويصبح صلبًا كالصخرة، يجب أن يكون قلبك خفيفًا كالريشة. فإذا أصابنا بمرض، أو وقعت لنا حادثة، أو تعرضنا لخسارة، أو أصابنا خوف، بطريقة أو بأخرى، فإننا نواجه جميعًا الحوادث التي تعلمنا كيف نصبح أقل أنانية وأكثر حكمة، وأكثر عطفًا. وأكثر كرمًا. ومع أن بعضنا يتعلم الدرس ويزداد رقة واعتدالاً، يزداد آخرون قسوة. إن الوسيلة التي تمكنك من الاقتراب من الحقيقة أكثر تكمن في أن يتسع قلبك لاستيعاب البشرية كلها، وأن يظل فيه متسع لمزيد من الحب.

ن كل إنسان عبارة عن كتاب مفتوح وكل واحد منا قران متنقل.إن البحث عن الله متأصل في قلوب الجميع سواء أكان ولياً أم قديسا أم مومسا. فالحب يقبع في داخل كل منا منذ اللحظة التي نولد فيها وينتظر الفرصة التي يظهر فيها منذ تلك اللحظة . وهذا ما تقوله إحدى القواعد الأربعين : يقبع الكون كله داخل كل إنسان - في داخلك. كل شي ترينه من حولك بما في ذلك الأشياء التي قد لا تحبيها ، حتى الأشخاص الذين تحتقرينهم أو تمقتينهم يقبعون في داخلك بدرجات متفاوتة. لذلك لا تبحثي عن الشيطان خارج نفسك . فالشيطان ليس قوة خارقة تهاجمك من الخارج بل هو صوت عادي ينبعث من داخلك.
