Never stop pushing for what you want! If something is truly important to you, stay diligent and find a way. Depending on whom you ask, the answer may be different. Never settle for the first answer! Do your own research, ask different people, go above other people’s head if you have to. Sometimes it’s necessary to push the envelope. Some people will purposely give you the wrong answer to try to stop you and/or hold you back. This, unfortunately, is a reality. Some people’s intentions are all wrong. Be mindful that not everyone will have your best interest at heart.

I vowed to myself that day that I would be wealthy when I grew up. It was my birthday-candle wish. I stood in that tiny dining room on stained carpet, in front of the yard-sale table, and I promised myself something better. I will never live like this when I have the ability to prevent it. I was vehement in this: someday I would be rich. I’m not supposed to say that, I know. I don’t want to be the only one that’s NOT afraid to use their voice in my circle. I don’t want to be the only one that’s fearless and unapologetic in my circle. I, personally, am not intimidated by another person’s gifts, talents, or skills. I love to build genuine relationships with like-minded people that inspire, motivate, and empower me, too!

Have you spent a lifetime muting yourself for fear of what others will think? Are you an entrepreneur who calls your business a hobby because you worry about what your mother-in-law will say or because it’s safer to keep everyone’s expectations low? Are you hesitating to go back to school because you think you’re not smart enough? Do you stop yourself from daring to try something new because you’re already positive you’ll fail? Do you remain silent when you have so much to say? Do you believe you’ll never do better or be better than you are right now because of your family of origin? Do you hesitate to admit your dreams aloud because you’re nervous about others making fun of you or judging you for your choices?

The next time you see a woman in business doing her thing and achieving major results, I want you to first and foremost send her love, and secondly I want you to imagine something amazing happening for yourself.

None of those things would have happened, however, if I did not believe they were possible. If they can happen for me, they can surely happen for you, too. You’ve just got to believe. You’ve got to believe, with all of your heart, that you can make it happen for yourself. You must believe you are worthy of your desires, and that you have all the tools within you to achieve success. You must release blame, guilt, fear, stress, and any other negative emotion that does not serve you.

You must envision your world through the eyes of positivity and possibility. The moment you do that, you open up a world of endless abundance.

Your reality is yours and yours alone. And it should be as fabulous as you want it to be.

Trusting your own brilliance means believing in your own voice, in your own story, in the power of your words, in your instincts, and in your passion. There is a reason why you do what you do. Something led you to do the work you do. Something inspired you that is authentic to you. And when you tap into that, you give your clients and your audience something they’ve never had before, and something they’ll never get again from anyone else. You give them yourself.
