How come you write the way you do?” an apprentice writer in my Johns Hopkins workshop once disingenuously asked Donald Barthelme, who was visiting. Without missing a beat, Don replied, “Because Samuel Beckett was already writing the way he does.” Asked another, smiling but serious, “How can we become better writers than we are?” “Well," DB advised, “for starters, read through the whole history of philosophy, from the pre-Socratics up through last semester. That might help.” “But Coach Barth has already advised us to read all of literature, from Gilgamesh up through last semester...” “That, too,” Donald affirmed, and twinkled that shrewd Amish-farmer-from-West-11th-Street twinkle of his. “You’re probably wasting time on things like eating and sleeping. Cease that, and read all of philosophy and all of literature. Also art. Plus politics and a few other things. The history of everything.

Black magic, the magic of the primeval chaos, blots out or transmogrifies the true form of things. At the stroke of twelve the princess must flee the banquet or risk discovery in the rags of a kitchen wench; coach reverts to pumpkin. Instability lies at the heart of the world. With uncanny foresight folklore has long toyed symbolically with what the nineteenth century was to proclaim a reality - namely, that form is an illusion of the time dimension, that the magic flight of the pursued hero or heroine through frogskin and wolf coat has been, and will continue to be, the flight of all men.
Loren Eiseley (The Star Thrower)
REJECTION is kind of your negative ILLUSION which has no value but it’s give you a CLUE to go for next level of your ACTION.

The development of the “We Believe” philosophy must be real and not cosmetic. Everyone must buy in and understand that it is not a motivational tool, but rather something very personal that should be lived and that all must believe in order for true success to be achieved.
George M. Gilbert (Team Of One: We Believe)

In game play it was always my philosophy that patience would win out. By that, I meant patience to follow our game plan. If we believed in it, we would wear the opposition down and would eventually get to them. If we broke away from our style, however, and played their style, we would be in trouble. And if we let our emotions, rather than our reason, command the game we would not function effectively.
John Wooden (They Call Me Coach)
If you choose to say no to good things and good people. You will end up saying yes to bad things and bad people. In life you are always first given an opportunity of free will, where you have lot of options to choose from. If you miss , abuse or take for granted that opportunity. Later you will feel like you have no choice and are forced to choose whatever, because the options remaining don’t favor you.
D.J. Kyos
No matter what the power source is, a sinusoidal pattern will always remain the same. Similarly, our lives have a certain pattern and that's of happiness and sorrow. We feel that we are in control of things and everything is going according to plan but life is again following a pattern.
Ackshat Deoli (Kilol-Bruges Express: The Fading Nomad)
I could have entered any state championship and won.”  “Didn’t you have the urge to defy him and try? Go to a coach and show them what you could do?”  “No. I learned the logic of Samuel’s philosophy on life and purpose very quickly. He taught me to balance what would benefit my progress versus what would only benefit my ego. I learned that there would be instances where cultivating the positive opinions of others wouldn’t hasten my progress toward my goals. Some accomplishments, the ones that meant the most to me, had to be for me alone. So I only swam for him and myself.

Evan Thomas writes that Ike told his grandson, David, that that smile “came not from some sunny feel-good philosophy but from getting knocked down by a boxing coach at West Point. ‘If you can’t smile when you get up from a knockdown,’ the coach said, ‘you’re never going to lick an opponent.’ ”16 He thought it was necessary to project easy confidence in order to lead the army and win the war:

People hate you and paint you as a bad person if you are telling them the truth they don’t want to hear or If you are pointing the wrongs they secretly do ,thinking no one will notice. They don’t want to be exposed for their wrongs ,because they are enjoying the benefits of their wrongs and bad decisions making. They want to keep everyone in the dark that when the time comes for them to face repercussions of their actions, they will be acting surprised and playing victims. So that everyone will sympathies with them. Always be on alert for such people.

The Stoic goal of living in concord, or harmony, with the rest of mankind doesn’t mean that we should expect everyone to act like our friend. On the contrary, we should be prepared to meet many foolish and vicious people in life and to accept this as inevitable. We should not meet disagreeable people and enemies with anger, but treat this as an opportunity to exercise our own wisdom and virtue. Stoics think of troublesome people as if they are a prescription from a physician, or a training partner we’ve been assigned by a wrestling coach. We exist for one another, says Marcus, and if we can’t educate those who oppose us, we have to learn at least to tolerate them.
Donald J. Robertson (How to Think Like a Roman Emperor: The Stoic Philosophy of Marcus Aurelius)
To all those who are racists. Those who are taught to be racist and those who are teaching others to be racists. Those who are racists in their hearts , mind, homes, and gatherings thinking other people won’t know that they are racists. Being racists is evil , wrong, unlawful, inhuman, bad and a crime against humanity. Regardless of whether you are being racists private or publicly. It doesn’t matter how good are you in hiding it. As long you are practicing it and thinking it. It is totally wrong. Not everyone can be a racist. It takes an evil, dark heart, horrible , selfish, heartless, uncultured, unmannered, barbaric , mean, retarded, disgusting, low self-esteem, psychopath, narcists, pathological liar, hypocrite, and loser of a person to be racist.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
She believed that a good teacher should make a poor student good, and a good student superior. I remember her saying, “When our students fail, we, as teachers, have also failed.” She focused on identifying and magnifying each student’s unique gifts. Her mantra to her students was “Trust yourself. Think for yourself. Act for yourself. Speak for yourself. Be yourself.” She embodied the philosophy “You can’t teach what you don’t know, and you can’t guide where you don’t go.” We don’t have to teach thousands, hundreds, or even dozens. If we can show one person the way, if we can bring one person from darkness into light, if we can make a difference in one person’s development, we have succeeded as a teacher and a coach. It is true that when you light someone else’s path, you see your own more clearly.
Kevin Hall (Aspire: Discovering Your Purpose Through the Power of Words)
When I started in real estate, despite high ambition, I was constrained by the same 24 hours as everyone else. My early success came from a grueling schedule, long hours, and the high price of near burn-out. In self-defense, I devised a system that featured direct marketing in place of traditional prospecting plus a highly effective team, with all the non-rainmaker tasks delegated to them. This took me to the top of the profession, twice #1 in RE/MAX worldwide in commissions earned, and 15 years as one of the top agents—working less hours than most. While an active agent, I consistently sold over 500 homes a year, even while starting and developing a second business, training and coaching more millionaire agents than any other coach. Without the inspiration of Dan Kennedy’s direct marketing methods and his extraordinary, extreme time-management philosophy, these achievements simply would not have been possible. LEVERAGING yourself, by media in place of manual labor, and with other people is very intimidating to most real estate agents and to most small businesspeople. It frankly is not easy to get right, but it is the quantum leap that uniquely and simultaneously lifts income and supports a great lifestyle. —CRAIG PROCTOR, CRAIGPROCTOR.COM

You might expect that if you spent such an extended period in twelve different households, what you would gather is twelve different ideas about how to raise children: there would be the strict parents and the lax parents and the hyperinvolved parents and the mellow parents and on and on. What Lareau found, however, is something much different. There were only two parenting “philosophies,” and they divided almost perfectly along class lines. The wealthier parents raised their kids one way, and the poorer parents raised their kids another way. The wealthier parents were heavily involved in their children’s free time, shuttling them from one activity to the next, quizzing them about their teachers and coaches and teammates. One of the well-off children Lareau followed played on a baseball team, two soccer teams, a swim team, and a basketball team in the summer, as well as playing in an orchestra and taking piano lessons. That kind of intensive scheduling was almost entirely absent from the lives of the poor children. Play for them wasn’t soccer practice twice a week. It was making up games outside with their siblings and other kids in the neighborhood. What a child did was considered by his or her parents as something separate from the adult world and not particularly consequential. One girl from a working-class family—Katie Brindle—sang in a choir after school. But she signed up for it herself and walked to choir practice on her own. Lareau writes: What Mrs. Brindle doesn’t do that is routine for middle-class mothers is view her daughter’s interest in singing as a signal to look for other ways to help her develop that interest into a formal talent. Similarly Mrs. Brindle does not discuss Katie’s interest in drama or express regret that she cannot afford to cultivate her daughter’s talent. Instead she frames Katie’s skills and interests as character traits—singing and acting are part of what makes Katie “Katie.” She sees the shows her daughter puts on as “cute” and as a way for Katie to “get attention.

There are two types of coaches. There’s coaches like me who weigh up the opposition and ask the team to adjust. Fergie was similar. José [Mourinho] is similar. Then there’s Arsène, who won’t adjust. There’s Brendan [Rodgers], who looks like he won’t adjust. There’s Manuel Pellegrini, who looks like he won’t adjust … their philosophy is different to ours. Ours is more about who are we playing against. Their philosophy is more, “We always play this way,” and they won’t change, they carry on doing the same thing. That’s why you can beat them.

Sometimes we must choose to congratulate and support those who are doing well. Instead of choosing to do what they are doing. Because they were praised in cooking, now suddenly everyone wants to be chefs . We need to understand that sometimes it is not the recipe but the cooker. We lose our success and opportunities by not sticking to our own lane , but by trying to do what everyone who is doing well did.

In the time of layoffs my two cents of advice to the entrepreneurs and business leaders. We share a great camaraderie with some people. We get amazing positive energy and warm vibes from some people. They genuinely care for us and want us to be successful and happy. They trust us and collaborate with us to accomplice our creative goals. We must hold on to such people in our life and stay connected to them. That's the way to lead a happy and satisfied life.

The things that I did when I grow up and the standards I hold and followed in the society. Kept me safe and I was labeled as a good person, but those things costs me joy, happiness and pleasures of life. I had to fight nature and my feelings everyday. Today I am branded and trusted with titles that cost me my time and life. I still try to maintain the standards but I don't have life of my own or experience any pleasures of life. I had achieved what I wanted and what other people wanted for me, but I had lost what it is important in this life. To live and experience life. All the good decisions I made then are now my biggest regrets, root of my depression and downfall.

Most of us choose to be In denial because lies are much more comforting than the truth. The truth cost us to be accountable ,responsible  and we are obliged to do what is right. While with lies we have someone to blame. We can play being victims and continue doing what is wrong knowing someone will take the blame or fall for it. We shift the blame and goal post. We can be hypocrites and have double standards.  We choose to fool others and at the end, we end up fooling ourselves.

The very same people you are choosing to do everything in your power that they are happy .They are getting everything they need and want , are choosing the opposite. They are doing everything in their power to make sure that you are not happy, and you are not getting what you want or need. The people you want to do everything for, are willing to do nothing for you. They have the power to make you happy, but they choose not to.

Most people choose to be stupid or to do stupid things these days, because being stupid or doing stupid things makes them popular . That is why most people are gullible, easy to control, manipulate , influence or fool. They lack logic and intelligent, because they choose not to acquire knowledge or information. Choosing to be a fool will make you personally suffer no matter how rich you become , because actions have consequences.

Never take advice, trust, or rely on a hungry person. Hunger has made people kill each other and sell each other. Hunger has made people turn against each other. We have no shame , morals, values, or principles anymore. We don’t have back bone or stand for something, because of hunger we fall for everything. Hunger controls lot of people. Hunger for success or for attention. Hunger to be rich. Hunger for being relevant or to trend. Hunger for being famous. Hunger for power or to be in control. Hunger for being noticed or liked. Hunger for sex or pleasure. Hunger for being loved. Hunger for money. Hunger for being cool, hunger for being credited, Hunger for being looked at as the smartest, wisest, or educated. Hunger for more followers or promos. Hunger for being right. Hunger for being in the circle or table. Hunger for being admired and hunger for friends. A starving person will say and do anything as long it is feeding their hunger. They can mislead, say wrong things, misinform, manipulate, abuse, lie, provoke, insult, intimidate, black mail, rage farm, influence, instigate people if it will feed their hunger. I hate poverty. It has made lot us break the law, support criminals, bad people, bad leaders , bad parties, bad things, bad behavior because whatever we support feeds our hunger.

If you know that you are lying when you talk about me to people. You tell lies that will make me look like a bad person. Just know that I am a better person than. You are the bad person you are trying to make me to look like.
D.J. Kyos
You guys want us to be bad people. If we are not bad people and we are not doing bad things. You want us to feel bad for being good people.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
We always get opportunities of doing something wrong or bad. Opportunities of hurting, cheating, lying, exaggerating to take advantage of others, and making the situation to favor us. Opportunities of making things unfair because when they are fair and right, they cost us more than the other person. No matter what happens don’t take those opportunities. Those opportunities are your setbacks. If you take them. You will be happy and would have benefited for the short time. Then you will suffer for the rest of your life.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
When they say they are maintaining the status quo and keeping things balanced. They mean gatekeeping wealth , land, economy, and business. Keeping us poor, uneducated, unskilled, untrained, underpaid, undeveloped and unemployed. The very same people will be having dementia few years down the line and will be saying we are poor, stupid, thieves, criminals, useless, uneducated, unskilled and dangerous. How we like handouts and everything to be given to us for free. How we like complaining about everything. Forgetting that they had stolen everything from us. Our resources and opportunities. They had tipped the scale to favor them. They were busy sabotaging and tempering with our progress and development. They were busy meddling with our affairs, policies, politics, business, government, and economy.

To lovers out there …. Even if they may have everything, the saddest person in life is someone who has never experienced love. To know what it is like to be loved by someone. To be taken care of by someone and to matter to someone.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
It was American philosopher Eugene Gendlin who developed ways of working with embodied knowledge and the ‘philosophy of the implicit’, and who first coined the phrase ‘felt sense’ to mean the sense we have when we are accessing our ‘gut instinct’, the deeper part of ourselves, our ‘intuition’. That is what constellations enable access to.
John Whittington (Systemic Coaching and Constellations: The Principles, Practices and Application for Individuals, Teams and Groups)
Stop lying about the people you don't like because you want other people not to like them as well.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
People are looking for opportunities to make you a bad person and make themselves victims. That is the new hustle these days. If they can’t be paid. Then they will make you pay.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
As a Christian are you living in fear or are you living in favor of God?
De philosopher DJ Kyos
You will never be a better person or a good person when you walk around carrying hate in your heart, especially when you choose to hate other people for no reason. No matter how much money you have or your qualifications or work experience. You will still be a vile, horrible, mean sick person who is rich, qualified, and experienced. You will never experience inner peace and true joy. Choose to stop hating other people, because of their race, gender, culture, religion, choices, or views.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
Stop arguing with people you don't know on social media. Foolish ones always think they are the smartest ones. You will be trying to make sense. They will be trying to make content. You will be trying to be reasonable. They will be trying to milk the content. They are rage farming and always trying to provoke you so they can get an engagement. Their objective is to get engagement. Not facts, truth or justice.
De philosopher DJ Kyos
Choosing to take shortcuts to riches or to cut corners in life because you want to live a fancy luxurious life, not just because you want to survive. It will always put your life in danger if not taking it away.
