Embrace every circumstance, own every fault, share every joy, contemplate every mystery, walk in every man’s shoes, forgive every offense (including your own), heal every heart, honor every person’s truth, adore every person’s God, protect every person’s rights, preserve every person’s dignity, promote every person’s interests, provide every person’s needs, presume every person’s holiness, present every person’s greatest gifts, produce every person’s blessing, pronounce every person’s future secure in the assured love of God. Be a living, breathing example of the Highest Truth that resides within you. Speak humbly of yourself, lest someone mistake your Highest Truth for boast. Speak softly, lest someone think you are merely calling for attention. Speak gently, that all might know of Love. Speak openly, lest someone think you have something to hide. Speak candidly, so you cannot be mistaken. Speak often, so that your word may truly go forth. Speak respectfully, that no one be dishonored. Speak lovingly, that every syllable may heal. Speak of Me with every utterance. Make of your life a gift. Remember always, you are the gift! Be a gift to everyone who enters your life, and to everyone whose life you enter. Be careful not to enter another’s life if you cannot be a gift. (You can always be a gift, because you always are the gift—yet sometimes you don’t let yourself know that.) When someone enters your life unexpectedly, look for the gift that person has come to receive from you…I HAVE SENT YOU NOTHING BUT ANGELS.

I also teach you to love yourself first. It has nothing to do with ego. In fact, love is such a light that the darkness of the ego cannot exist in it at all. Be a lamp unto yourself, make of yourself a light" were the last words of the Buddha. no teacher or outside authority can give us the truth or take it away. in the end, we will find that our heart holds the simple wisdom and unshakable compassion that we have sought all along.

You can’t give yourself to love for a soldier without giving yourself to his suffering in war. It is this body of our suffering that Christ was born into, to suffer it Himself and to fill it with light, so that beyond the suffering we can imagine Easter morning and the peace of God on little earthly homelands such as Port William and the farming villages of Okinawa. But Christ’s living unto death in this body of our suffering did not end the suffering. He asked us to end it, but we have not ended it. We suffer the old suffering over and over again. Eventually, in loving, you see that you have given yourself over to the knowledge of suffering in a state of war that is always going on. And you wake in the night to the thought of the hurt and the helpless, the scorned and the cheated, the burnt, the bombed, the shot, the imprisoned, the beaten, the tortured, the maimed, the spit upon, the shit upon.

I was sick, poor, hungry, and destitute of clothing; what did you do for me with my intrusted means? How was the time I lent you employed? How did you use your pen, your voice, your money, your influence? I made you the depositary of a precious trust by opening before you the thrilling truths heralding my second coming. What have you done with the light and knowledge I gave you to make men wise unto salvation? Our Lord has gone away to receive his kingdom; but he will prepare mansions for us, and then will come to take us to himself. In his absence he has given us the privilege of being co-laborers with him in the work of preparing souls to enter those mansions of light and glory. Those who lead a Christless life, who exclude Jesus from heart, home, and business, who leave him out of their counsels, and trust to their own heart, and rely on their own judgment, are unfaithful servants, and will receive the reward which their works have merited. At his coming the Master will call his servants, and reckon with them. The parable certainly teaches that good works will be rewarded according to the motive that prompted them; that skill and intellect used in the service of God will prove a success, and will be rewarded according to the fidelity of the worker. 1. You are responsible for each and everything that is happening in your life. 2. Judgments and blames are mental projections of your own inadequacies. 3. You create your own sickness, dysfunctional relationships, poverty and disasters in your life. 4. Self-righteousness, Arrogance / Ego isolate you and cause a sense of disconnectedness. 5. Only you can make the effort to work towards your own enlightenment. Be a light unto yourself. 6. Everything is fair and everything operates according to the cosmic laws. 7. Attachment is not love. Love flows in true detachment. Attachment, clinging and bondage bring misery. 8. Nirvana can’t be found in the Himalayas or in exalted places or with the grace of a Guru. Nirvana is a state of being. 9. Nirvana and Samsara are not two different aspects, and they are not opposites. 10. Many of us believe in an angry, judgmental God who has not forgiven him or her, but the truth is that we are already forgiven by the universe. 11. Grace is our natural state, not something that we have to struggle to reach. You are already blessed!

Many Christians are wringing their hands and saying, “What’s the world coming to?” The Bible has already told us that “the world and the lust thereof ” are going to pass away. We have already been told in Scripture that the world is coming to a cataclysmic judgment. We Christians are to be lights in the midst of darkness, and our lives should exemplify relaxation, peace, and joy in the midst of frustration, confusion, and despair. Time yourself the next time you read the Bible and pray. Compare this amount of time to that you spend, say, watching television. Is God getting His share of your time and attention?

Love heals what time cannot. Love heals what reason cannot. Love is the reason. Love is the healing. Love is the way. It is also the why. When all else fails, and we fall — Love rises. After the fight is over, Love is what wins. It is the light. It is our light. It is our wings at the bottom of a well, in the depths of our darkest caves. It is our courage to get back up. To do what scares us. To face what hurts us. The will to love is courage, kindness, tenacity, and knowledge. Love is life’s greatest wisdom. It is most overlooked, easily misunderstood, and always manipulated by industries. Or pain. But love is always and forever within you. Study love and you study yourself. Give love and you give back to God and to the universe and to our ancestors with everything you got. Love is more than a feeling, it is the greatest art of doing, giving, being. It is sacred knowledge. It is our growth, maturity, and kindness set forth into service. It is selflessly serving unto others, and yet paradoxically, how we best serve unto ourselves.
